"We had a great time at Pierre's lovely converted barn in Sonac. The kitchen area was excellent - very well equipped, which made it easy to cater for nine people. The pool area was absolutely perfect and a hit with everyone. The huge garden was well used by all, both of our dogs and the children. The rooms also comfortably accommodated everyone. Pierre was an excellent host who made us very welcome. We'd love to return."

The pool is amazing, heated and had a deep part on the centre but not around the edge, (so you could stand at the edge easily). "We stayed here a week in July - family of 4. It was a welcome sight after a long journey, very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. It is a very quiet location, with just a neighbouring couple in an attached property but we never really heard or saw much of them. We found plenty to do locally and further afield - caves, lovely villages, ancient settlements, châteaux, canoeing, etc Could fill two, three or even four weeks here easily! "This is a lovely house, gorgeous character and charm to it and the size of the outside space is fantastic. The location is rural, car is an absolute must. Down a lane and in the middle of some lovely trees, you can walk to the local baker if you go down the lane and into the little ravine and back out the other side. But you can’t pop anywhere from here, so great if you want to be away from it all. Property was fine for our little ones but likely better for slightly bigger kids - the pool isn’t...

"The house is large with 4 big rooms and wonderful open plan kitchen diner. The view is spectacular and very relaxing. We were close to shops and sightseeing places like Sarlat, Rocamadour etc. As it was hot, it was lovely to have the pool to cool off. All in all a fantastic place. "
