"From the fresh cut flowers on the back porch to the wonderful homey ambience inside, this place is truly a home away from home. Beautiful scenery outdoors, and comfy and cozy inside. The front deck was beautifully decorated with fall mums, and inside various plants, basking in the sun make this cabin come alive. The host was a delight to communicate with, and available every time we had a question or need. We are already planning our trip back. "

"The house was is in a great location. Our biggest complaint was that the listing said two bathrooms and there is only 1 1/2. Further, the 1/2 bath in the basement is very noisy as it uses some special pump. The house has plenty of bedrooms, a nice big yard and the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/etc."

"We found the perfect little home away from home location spot - charming cabin a short drive to town where our whole family (my husband, daughter, and our dog) could relax after a day of skiing and sight-seeing. Stowe is a picture postcard around every corner and that includes this sweet cabin. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, it added such a nice touch to the cold winter evenings. Impressed with all the little touches - would indeed return!"

"My husband and I booked this cabin for a new years ski trip with our golden retriever. Though the weather wasn’t ideal (only got one day of skiing in), we were happy to have such a perfect cabin to relax in during our stay. Pictures are a great representation of the cabin, and it was roomy and warm. Definitely could have invited a couple friends (or brought kids) and still been comfortable. "Gwen and Larry were excellent hosts from start to finish! The property was everything as described, plus more. The communication with the hosts were direct and speedy with responses, an attribute that made our weekend even more enjoyable! From the cute landscape surrounding the cabin, to every aspect inside that was available for us. I look forward to hopefully making more trips back to this quaint destination for an escape from the hustle of Jersey!"

"Little House was perfect for our stay! It was so quiet, beautiful, and peaceful, and Jennifer is an excellent host. She was very communicative when the wind caused a brief power outage and brought us over some extra water during that time! We visited Montpelier, Stowe, Waterbury, and Burlington during our weekend and all locations were easy to get to (and the drives there were beautiful!). An added bonus was the house being so close to Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks. Would definitely stay here...

We came with bags of groceries and cooked, puzzled, snowshoed, relaxed, recharged our body batteries and reconnected with our friends. Its great for families with children or for adult getaways and it has all you need. If you like to cook its wonderful as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The hardware store/bar and local market is close enough that you can run out...

"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
