Our stay was for 9 days, with 7 people and we couldn’t have been more comfortable. David’s home was cozy and spacious, with an amazing rooftop view of partial ocean and fireworks that took place every night. You can even see them from the living room. The art in this home was beautiful. From the giant heart painting on the dining room wall, to the yarn art, and little skeleton tiles placed in the rooms. We also loved that every room was big and came with its own bathroom. We also love the addition of the second deck and the roof top, it was nice going up and watching the sunset. We even did yoga up there! We used the pool almost everyday. A little bit on the colder side and the jacuzzi wasn’t warm, but we mostly just laid out. Another thing to love, was the location of the home! The perfect spot with restaurants and little grocery markets within walking distance. We did get an Uber to and from Costco to buy things since there were a lot of us. But if you just need little things, there’s the Friendly Market nearby and Oxxo which are like convenient stores. If walking at night, bring flashlights! No street lights. 10mins from downtown. And having a security guard 24/7 made us feel so safe!
Our only hiccup was the water. This community pays for their own water, so you have to be cautious about how much water you use. That wasn’t really an issue for us because our host said he usually has people stay a week and their water would still be good. There’s an area where you can check on your water to see how much there is, and if it’s a red dot, you message them to let them know and they call a guy to bring more water. Unfortunately, our water was running really low on our 3rd and 4th day, to the point where we had to limit our water use. We even ran out of water at a point, even though people came to fill up our water tank twice or so. We thought this was strange because we were barely home using the water. In the end, it was because there was some kind of leak coming from one of the bathrooms. It took until the 6th day or so to figure it out because our host brought some people over to check out what was wrong. Other than this, we still loved the home.
Juan, our host, was always very quick to assist and respond. He was very nice and hospitable. He even gave us great suggestions and tips for around the area since it was all of our first time to Cabo.
We would loooove to stay here again whenever we come back. Thank you David and Juan for hosting us!
