"The views were wonderful! The amenities were great on paper, a few were not ready for us to use (shooting range & submarine diving). "The staff is very friendly. Filipinos are always nice! The pool was great overlooking the ocean. The grounds were very well kept. The restaurant was open with an ocean view. The staff was top notch and the beer was cold. Fun for kids as well. Animal statuary and playgrounds."

"The whole ambience of the eco camp is just so chilled. The pool is amazing and clean and wonderfully refreshing in the heat. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, organising food for us to bbq and offering a moped for half an hour when we ran out of cash to go to the atm. If you have already done most of the tours in the island then there isn’t masses to do around Balilihan except the waterfalls and you need a scooter to get around. We didn’t have this so instead just enjoyed a lovely...

"the swimming and snorkeling was excellent, the water was clear and the blue coral was beautiful!! great for diving! The property is beautifully landscaped and the plants are well taken care of. cons; the dining room is open air "little selection" and the hotel dogs bother with you for food scraps"

"For a low budget hotel in the Philippines, it was clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, The hotel provides free shuttle service to alona Beach which is 13 minutes away, on most nights, So you can access the restaurants and entertainment. The hotel provides Complementary breakfast 7 to 9 (Filipino style ) which is more than adequate, and Lunch is available between 1130 and 130 and supper between 6 to 8 only(excellent prices). "Hotel was ok but a little far out of town but the staff is very good at helping you get a taxi to town or tour"

"I truly felt like a celebrity when I stayed had. The entire staff is beyond nice and incredibly accommodating. They even provided a shuttle to and from Alona beach and helped me rent a scooter for the day. 5 star experience! "

"Property is within walking distance of the local town centre, making it easy to get out to various places including outside of the town. Staff were friendly & cleaning the property on a daily basis. Has a great sea view & everything stated as being included was included without additional charge. Would recommend."

Very relaxing stay.

"The place is away from the hustle bustle, very quiet and serene, relaxing with well planned out lay out. Just make sure you have good Wifi connections since the airport in Panglao is spotty. Even after using a local phone, couldn't connect to the hotel. But once we got checked in, everthing went well. The owner was apologetic. The place is well maintained, clean ,spotless, good hot showers and AC. Service is prompt, mini restaurant food was good, you can eat at your patio or at the dining area. Pool was inviting. They will call you a " tuktuk" to get to Alona Beach ( 20 minutes away) about $8.50 round trip. They can arrange excursions for you too. Overall, we had a nice, relaxing stay at the Inn."

The paid menu was limited, but acceptable. Lots of different cultural influences, but didn’t seem to have a staple. It was a par at everything, excellent at nothing. I would find a niche that could provide a stellar experience and market off of that. "
