"I stay away two or three nights every week and this is one of the nicest places I have stayed this year. It is rare these days that people offer to help you with your bags but Toby didn’t even ask, he just picked my bag up and said. ‘I’ll take you to your room ‘ lovely HOTEL and great stuff. I got there late so didn’t sample the food but it looked excellent and I will try and get there early next time."

"A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!"

"Very nice room with comfortable bed, excellent shower, though fairly small bedroom with a standard sized double bed and no chairs. Free parking space for each room. Extremely good value for money. Premier Inn, Hereford wanted £110 more for 1 night(!) and would have charged extra for breakfast and parking! We had a meal at the pub that was OK. All the staff were very helpful and friendly."

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the view from our room, we were looking out onto the kitchen roof, complete with ventilation ducts, didn’t spoil out stay but some screening would have been nice. "Small friendly pub Excellent service . Food limited choice cooked well Room very small No wardrobe just hook on the back of the door. Bathroom also small. Comfortable room not much could have been done with the limited space. "
