Our TV was missing from our room, so check in was a bit delayed and they had to separate our beds which we had asked for before we arrived, but other than that, if you need a place to relax, it is great to wind down there. "I stayed at the property for one week. The rooms were spacious but dated. Some fixtures need to be replaced (stained carpets, mosquito netting, shower curtains). Appeared to be mold on bathroom ceiling, and dead insect in bathroom on check-in. However, staff extremely friendly and restaurant was very good, although expensive by local standards. Wifi was sometimes inconsistent. Overall, I rate stay as average."

"We were in Kakamega for work and during the weekend we moved to Rondo. This is a lovely and peaceful place, with an enchanting park were it is possible to see monkeys and listen to the songs of a variety of birds. We appreciated a lot the meals (I've asked for vegetarian meals and they was excellent) and the tea with a delicious piece of cake in the afternoons, taken directly to our small but beautiful cottage, despite the rain."
