There are many walks to explore in the rolling Peak District hills as well as cycle routes. You are within a short drive of the nearest towns, Bakewell and Buxton, which offer great parks, shops, food spots and Buxton is also home to the opera house which has theatre shows on weekly. Castleton is located around 7 miles which offers a fun day exploring the caverns via boat or take a trip to Chatsworth House to soak up its history and beautifully kept gardens.
