Great place, we really enjoyed the ping pong table. We were not in town long so can't really speak to the location but seemed to be in a good spot to grab drinks or food. Great communication from the owner as well, would definitely recommend.
Spacious place for a family stay in a cute area on our road trip. Well stocked and easy to find. Cool inside even though it was quite hot outside. Stayed 2 nights.
Great place, nothing fancy. Was a perfect place for a bunch of guys partying up town. Perfect location if you’re looking to be in the heart of the bar scene in uptown butte.
We were back in Butte for my grandmothers funeral and had the best experience staying here. The location is perfect and there was plenty of room for my family and to host guest to catch up with friends and family.
Great location. Fun, historical experience. A little noisy, but to be expected with the location. Nice little thoughtful touches throughout. Would love to stay again.
We celebrated my daughter’s graduation from Montana Tech last weekend and this place worked perfectly. We brought a ton of food and the serving area made for perfect serving line. We had around 25 people during the afternoon and the large area made mingling and visiting easy. We had 9 people stay over Friday, which required some bathroom rationing in the morning, but no other issues. Beds were super comfy as were the couches. Location made loading stuff in easy as there are only a few stairs to navigate, great for my older parents. Also the location made walking to bars around uptown convenient. I had no idea how big a hit the ping pong table was going to be with the younger crowd, made for some great entertainment. Only con I heard was from the ladies about the lack of a body length mirror who were hoping to have one when get ready in the morning. Communication with Jeff was great and he let us in a little early as soon as it was ready. All in all, this place was excellent and made for a great weekend!
It was a perfect place and space to get together and hang out with girl friends.
We enjoyed the history of Butte, and the location was walking distance to everything!
We will be back!!
Had a wonderful 60th birthday party here. Lots of space and activities for little ones and adults. Ping pong and karaoke were a huge hit. Was nice to stay where the party was and for out of town guests. Would rent this again. A little gem
Four adults had a great stay in this renovated daylight basement of the beautiful old church. I wish we'd had more time to relax there. The living area is HUGE, and would be great for a couple of families, or a family with lots of children.
The property was clean and spacious. We were able to spread out and not feel cramped for the entire 4 days. The home has so much light shining in you forget your in a basement.
We cooked 2 turkeys and all the sides, slept 10 for 5 nights - it was great! Kitchen was fully loaded, made cooking easy. Lots of space to give everyone room and the ping pong table was well played. I would highly recommend it.
What a unique stay in a former Baptist Church! We loved the historic elements left in place and the new use of space. The old fellowship hall makes a great gathering space with surprising coziness for a large space. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The uptown location is within walking distance to restaurants and pubs with quick access to the Safeway.
We were in town for a basketball tournament, and this place was perfect for entertaining kids in between games. It was close to the MAC and had everything we needed to keep kids busy between games. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the kitchen tools you could need. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. We will definitely be staying here again!
A handful of colleagues came to Butte for meetings, and this was a great space to meet up, eat shared meals, and wish we had time for pingpong. Quieter sleeping than anticipated, given the reviews— definitely didn't need the sound machines! We slept well. Kitchen is well stocked with pots/untensils/etc. Welcome book offered lots of information on how to enjoy Butte. Would definitely stay here again.
Rocky start. Not the owners fault, the hired man's dog made a mess. this was corrected quickly.
We loved the building, comfortable beds, plenty of entertainment. Very historic.
I dropped an earring in the heat vent. Jeff was quick to retrieve it for me!
Perfect place to stay for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. We easily walked to bars & restaurants. We enjoyed watching the parade & joining the festivities on the street right outside the church.
We planned to stay as a group of 8. We had a couple of last minute additions and easily accommodated 10 people.
We loved the long table for games.
One complaint: there were no ping pong balls for the ping pong table.
Unexpected gem! We were hoping to find something that came in less than two decent hotel rooms, and when we found this, we were a little nervous, but thought we would go for it. We had nothing to worry about! It was comfortable, safe, had plenty of open space for our kids to have fun, the karaoke machine was a big, big hit! Quiet, private bedrooms - enough for everyone. Temperature was perfect, all the amenities we needed. Jeff was very communicative and helpful. We could not have asked for better!
This i a great place for a lot of people. It has everything you need to have a good time. There are toys and games for both children and adults.
The negatives heat inconsistent, some bedrooms to warm some to cold. Amplifier for surround sound defective, so karaoke did not work. Ping pong paddles worn.
We enjoyed the easy parking and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Bottom line, i do recommend staying here and I would again.
We had an amazing time flying in and visiting with family thanks to Jeff and this beautifully repurposed building! The large open space was the perfect place for our family to gather after a long day of cold weather activities! The large family table was a huge plus for us along with the spacious seating area in the livingroom. We also can’t forget the ping pong table and fully stocked kitchen! So many wonderfully thought out features in this property! The only negative I truly had was the lack of washer and dryer. But, there is a laundry mat one street over that we were able to use in emergencies! Overall I am really pleased with the host and our visit and would recommend this property to all of my family and friends in the future :)

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication
Very cool space, no laundry
We booked this as a stopover between our trip to Glacier NP and Yellowstone to break up the driving and do some laundry. It worked well for that, locationally!
Pros: the space is huge and nicely outfitted. The beds were super comfy. It was very clean. They included white noise machines and other nice details. Guide book was very informative.
Cons: the listing says laundry available and none was available. We tried asking for info and nobody responded to us while there. I’m fairness we were in late and out fairly early (10 am)for the one night. There is a lot of street noise. There’s no A/c which is fine but you don’t want to open the windows bc of the traffic noise. There are fans and the white noise machines help. The ceiling fan in my bedroom would only work with the light on so we couldn’t use it.
We were in Butte for a family funeral. We wanted a space that was large enough to sleep several of our party and that had gathering space where our large extended family could visit and relax since no one actually lives in Butte and they were driving in from Whitehall and Missoula. This place was perfect! We had a 3 year old and a 9 month old with us. The bunk room with it's play rug and toys was a hit with the 3 year old and it was great having a pack & play for the baby. The huge kitchen was well stocked and had all the ammenities you could think of... and then some. The spacious main area had lots of seating options and dining spaces. The beds were super comfortable, there was plenty of hot water for showers. There was even a ping pong table, kareoke and tons of games and reading material. The historic building makes for a unique stay and there is information about the history of the church. The location was great for us, just a few blocks from the church where our memorial was held. It is on the corner of a main road uptown, but the traffic noise was not to bad. The fans kept the space comfortable even though it was very hot outside. Jeff was a very responsive host and texted back quickly when we had questions. We would definitely stay again!
