Enjoy beautiful Elk River!

Our river side retreat offers 2 (full-size bed) bedrooms with bedding provided. Full size bathroom with towels and wash clothes, hair dryer. Dine in kitchen stocked with dishes and assorted pots and pans. Microwave, toaster, coffee pot, mixer. Sorry no dish washer. or ice maker. Living area includes tv, DVD player and a CD player. We have wifi and satellite tv. We do not have a land line phone, but there is one available with free long distance within the United States at our house, which is just up the drive way. Washer and dryer on site. Front porch with a view of Elk River. A back porch/ patio area with picnic table and fire pit. Electric out door grill. We are on site if you have problems. We are close to Watauga Lake, Twisted Falls and snow skiing in Western North Carolina.

Exactly what I needed for my stay. Four day wedding at Sugar Hollow Retreat, which happened to be less than a mile from the location. East drive each day to and from. Loved the view of the river in the morning as well! Would highly recommend.

We had a very relaxing stay at this property! The rocking chairs on the front porch were the place to be. Be advised there is no service out there, and if you want food you should stop on your way there. I wish we would have had more time there.

30 min to Beach Mountain
We came to go to Beach Mountain and go skiing. It was a short easy trip to the ski resort and the place was perfect.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway! My sister and i took my niece to go snowboarding for her birthday. Beautiful views! Close to lots of places to go hiking and beautiful waterfalls. The owners of the property are very nice and made sure we had everything we needed! I will definitely stay there again!

Great spot!
We stayed here for 2 nights and went skiing and tubing in western NC (about a 45min drive) while there. The place is great for a small family and has everything needed. Very nice experience for those looking for a relaxing place to rest there head and enjoy the quiet life.
