EXPERIENCE THE WATER'S EDGE. FAMILIES LOVE IT! EVERYONE LOVES IT!

When you arrive at Water's Edge you will not want or need to leave. We offer a Pontoon boat rental from May to October that can stay at the house overnight/s and you can use at your leisure with no trips running back and forth and wasting precious vacation/boating time. This house is as close to the water as one can get. We have been VRBO property owners since 2014. This property is a Beach Style Lakefront home with double slip dock. The gentle slope of the patio walk to water provides an easy walk to the Waters Edge. The house has 2 bedrooms with independent Mini-split AC. Master Suite has a King Bed with full bathroom with step in shower. 2ND Bedroom has 1 Queen bed and a set of bunk beds with Ensuite full Bathroom with step in shower. All of our beds are very comfortable and after each guest leaves every piece of linen, every blanket, every quilt or bedspread is washed and fresh especially for you. We also have a 3rd Full Bath on the ground floor with step in shower. This house will sleep 6 comfortably in beds and if you have some young ones to sleep on the large comfy sectional there is space enough for 2 smaller humans.

Wifi is 20 mbps with DISH TV.

IF YOU REQUIRE HIGH SPEED INTERNET PLEASE DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. We do have wifi that will serve for wifi phone calls and emails etc. You can play anything but WAR ZONE according to my 17 year old son.

The house boasts a full eat in Kitchen and open floor plan Living area. The view from the huge front porch is spectacular and as a Bonus we have a Bar-B-Q Chef's dream complete with a Gas grill and outdoor Bar. Just outside the sliding door and off the huge deck you will find a the Hot Tub. Our Hot Tub is drained after each guest leaves and we use minimal Bromide tablets to keep it fresh for you. Sit in the Hot Tub and take in the Magnificent Watauga Lake in all its Glorious Beauty. Jump in one of the Kayak's and drift off into the sunset. If you're not a Hot Tub person then maybe you stroll down to the Water's Edge and sit by the Fire Pit or rent the pontoon boat and jump aboard at your leisure. Ask after booking for details of the pontoon boat rental.

Relaxing Serene Lake Retreat
Wonderful! This property was at the end of the lake so we had almost no boat traffic. Since you face a national forest, the view was superb. The pontoon we rented was fun and the dock was perfect for relaxing. It was very private and had everything needed to cook and hang out. The back deck is fenced in so perfect for our dog. He enjoyed his vacation with us and was sad to leave.

Gorgeous home right on the lake. Owner promptly responded to any questions or concerns. Plush comfortable mattresses. Huge porch facing lake made it feel like we were sitting almost on top of lake. Spent 5 relaxing days here. From house to boat dock is approximately 40 ft. Walk, Absolutely no regrets about choosing this place for our family vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time spending a few days at the lake. What a view sitting on the dock looking at the lake with the mountains surrounding. We enjoyed our time and wish we could have stayed several more days.

What a wonderful home!! We had an amazing time! The house was wonderfully clean, fun decor, perfect location! We truly enjoyed using the boat to get a vivid view of the fall colors on the lake. The fire pit and hot tub were outstanding. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place for family to come together
My family and I all came from different states come together for a family weekend. Thanks for this wonderful residence we had a fantastic time. Splendor on the Lake
The house was very comfy & well stocked with everything we needed for our family gathering. The kitchen supplies were over the top with all that our chefs needed to feed us their fabulous meals!! What a place!!! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house was great and as advertised very clean and great beds! Very good communication and boat rental although it’s not a must with a great dock I definitely recommend getting out in lake. Beautiful back deck with table and grill to enjoy the nights. Perfect Family Vacation!!
Such a NICE place!!! Highly recommend. Super clean, nicely updated and appointed rental. Dock was great and hot tub was as well. We had smores every night in the fire pit. Had everything we needed - and everything was labeled (kitchen drawer and cabinet labels were awesome!!). Only recommendation would be to have a sleeper sofa in the living room. Would definitely consider renting again if Brenda would have us back.

What a great spot on Watauga Lake! Peaceful and serene! Beauty awaits you from the inside of the home that is tastefully decorated, the easy living floor plan that brings the outside in with the wide open french doors to the covered porch overlooking the lake. The kitchen was great for cooking meals with our family and we enjoyed the outdoor space for eating and grilling at the bar area. The beds were super comfortable and lots of room for everyone to space out! Brenda and her husband were wonderful hosts and always available to answer questions! My family and i look forward to staying here again in the future!

Perfect lake house!
I cannot recommend this property enough. We spent a week here. The home was the perfect size for two couples, and the lake views were absolutely beautiful. We spent hours swimming in the lake and jumping off the dock. The home was well furnished, very clean, and the air condition worked well. We rented the boat through Brenda, and it couldn’t have been easier. She brought it right to the house for us with a full tank of gas. We cruised the whole lake for days and it was a dream vacation. We will definitely be back!

PARADISE
This house was perfect and had every amenity. Brenda was amazing to work with! She helped answer all of our questions before we arrived and even once we were at the property. The linen and towels were absolutely luxurious. She has high end taste and really payed attention to EVERY detail. There are a ton of hooks and storage for wet clothes and to keep organized. The view is picturesque no matter where you are on the property or out on the lake. The property owners are top notch. They took time to review the map of the lake and provided tips and tricks to boating on the lake. So many unexpected surprises as far as amenities. Once we were on site, we never left. If you are looking for the perfect relaxing get away with your family, this is the place and these are the type of owners you want to work with. THANK YOU for opening your doors to our family and sharing a little piece of paradise.

Spectacular Views and Totally Clean with everything we needed!
First impressions were outstanding! You can tell that the Brenda and Tim care about their property and their renters. Our family vacation on Watauga Lake was an adventure and not long enough. We own and operate a cleaning service, so the very first thing we typically do when we rent any house, is clean it first. This is the first time in 10 years, I haven't had to do this. Everything was clean, the linens, towels and beds were soft and comfortable. We all commented on how peacefully we slept. Hottub was perfect temp, Clean and not overpowering with chemicals. We rented the boat which was in itself an experience for us. (Even made a stop to the Emergency room to remove a hook from a finger) Hiking the AT, Kayaking, Fishing, Fires, Chess games, Bags, Swimming in the Lake= Priceless Family Memories. So grateful for the time we had and we would definitely be back.
