had a very good stay and was a great location to visit the giants causway and the causway coastal route. will definately use the smuglers inn again if we return to northern ireland. food was good and our son became addicted to the duck in hoisin sauce and wouldnt eat out anywhere during our stay (4 nights ) .

Smugglers Inn
A cute place, courteous staff, the rooms need some upgrading, especially the beds. We had to complain about the first room we were given as the windows opened onto the kitchen exhaust. Once we moved, the seaside view was lovely to wake up to.
We are a family with a baby and 2 young children and stayed in a family combo room (room 10) which was perfect as actually was 2 rooms - a main room with a double bed and single bed, and then a small room off it with two single beds in it, which could only be acccessed from the main room. Perfect if you have small children and don't want to sit in the dark in the same room as them after 8pm once they go to bed! Also brilliant location, close to Giant's Causeway, Whitepark Bay, Portrush etc. The only downside was our main room was actually very warm (the children's room was fine) so am not sure if it was over the kitchen or something. There was already a fan supplied so we didn't mention it to the staff, so obviously we musn't have found it that bad. I would def recommend it!
excellent hotel lovely time room beautiful looking over the sea georgous - we were on a b & b booking but came back at night and got our evening meal would definitely go back there again no problem we would give it a 5 star.
