Close to everything in the CBD and the Melbourne Cricket Ground, as well as Flinders Street tram station for navigating around the area. Highly recommend getting a package with breakfast, it's a great buffet and is very reasonably priced when booked at the time of the room."

"We had a great stay at Rydges Melbourne. The staff were so lovely and gave us complimentary drinks for our anniversary in the restaurant bar. The towels are are great size and bed was so comfy. Easy check in and check out. Car parking is very expensive though so look for other offers, but it is so convenient. "

"The OAKS is an extremely well-positioned place to stay. We had a fabulous stay albeit short. We loved the cleanliness of the room, the facilities such as comfy bed, full kitchen and modern bathroom were all very much appreciated after we had a long trip, arriving later in the evening. The Reception staff on arrival, (Ze) and those we met on departure were very pleasant, asking about our visit, interested in what we planned to do and what we enjoyed about visiting Melbourne. "

"Wish we had researched just how far the hotel was from the airport, and had known there was a bus we could have used. We walked, carrying the bags, not an easy feat when you are in your 70's !!! Needless to say, we caught the bus back to the airport!! Otherwise, loved the hotel and friendly staff."
