"Room was horrendous, telly didn’t work, dirty mouldy windows, dirty rusty radiator, blood smears on walls, chipped old furniture, no room to walk up sides of bed, limited drinks in bar areas. On the bright side breakfast was nice."

"A lovely located hotel with amazing views. My room was great with lots of space but the windows needed a clean on the inside and no water in the mini fridge - not essential but would be a nice touch in an executive room. Restaurant staff lovely and attentive too."

Burton Agnes Manor House is a free to enter site, maintained by English Heritage. Its construction dates back to Norman times. It's located in the grounds of Burton Agnes Hall, which is privately owned, and can be viewed at a price of £10.50. I haven't been in the hall but it certainly looks the part from outside.
