"The Hotel Maria Manuela is great; nice rooms, and the Spa is excellent. Located at Benia de Onis, is a great option off the beaten path, surrounded by nature; the food at the restaurants across the Hotel is amazing. Do not leave without visiting the store next door to the hotel where they sell local cheese, iberico ham, bread and of course Cider. "

"Great location at base of mountains, right by entrance to cablecar to mountain top. Great for walkers . Restaurant menu possibly a little limited for British visitors but good snack options in bar area. Breakfast good- especially if you like wine with your croissants!"

"Absolutely stunning mountains! And a beautiful rustic converted farm complex, set with mountain views all around, lambs frolicing in the nearby field, wonderful breakfasts and dinners available, and friendly staff available to chat to you in Spanish, English or French and give advice about the most magical places to visit. "We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."

"What an amazing find up so high up in the mountains. Huge room with great views of the church and mountains. The set 3 course evening meal with water and a bottle of wine for 2 was great value at €30 each."

"Breakfast was dreadful .toaster broke down,not enough seats, so refill of food felt hungry when we left"

"I would have preferred breakfast in dinning area. Overall very helpful people even though i cannot speak spanish yet Would definitely go back and recommend to family and friends "

"The hotel is modern and is a touch of luxury. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Area is quiet for sleeping. Staff were helpful and courteous. Toiletries were a step above. Parking was easy and free. Close to beach and cafes and a nice stroll to main town centre. There is a small fridge in the room and a pod coffee machine. We wish we had time to stay longer. "

"Accueil inexistant. Cest le gros probleme de cet hotel. Tout se passe sur internet. Beaucoup de bruit le soir avec les restaurants, jusqu'à tres tard dans la nuit. Je n'ai pas vu une seule fois un responble de l'hôtel. Dommage."

"Tras realizar una reserva en el mes de febrero para el puente de mayo , a media hora de check un nos dicen que no tenemos reserva y tienen el alojamiento completo, nos ofrecen un alojamiento que nada tiene que ver con lo abonado . Nos tuvimos que buscar la vida y perder un día de las vacaciones por la mala gestión"
