The town square is within walking distance and has the cutest shops and some very good eateries. Mountains are the awesome backdrop for this town so I suggest the 3rd or 4th week in October to visit.
Lovely, country, peaceful...
Charming town with lovely, quaint shops that we enjoyed visiting very much! Great accommodations at the Carolina Country Inn and fantastic eats at the Pig & Grits restaurant!
We were traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and this was a little further away than I thought it would be. Still a wonderful place to stay.
Nice Old town charm. Small shops and friendly home town feel.
