Decent
Overall it was a decent stay. The cabin was very very clean. The fireplace was nice, with plenty of firewood, and it had a pretty comfy living space. The loft was nice, though I personally felt a little bit uncomfortable with how easily people or neighbors could see right into the upstairs at night from outside by looking through the loft windows. Everything worked well, though the oven smoked up terribly when preheating it, to the point of setting off the smoke detector. I made sure the manager was made aware though, so I’m sure that will be taken care of. You also may want to request to the owner ahead of time for the hot tub to be set to a warm temperature before you arrive. It was at 74° when we arrived and it took the entire evening/night to heat up to 102°, so that was a big bummer to not be able to use it for the first night of our stay, especially considering we only booked for two nights. I tried to contact the manager soon after we arrived to make sure there were no issues with it because of how long it was taking to heat up, but didn’t hear back until the following day. But once it got up to temperature, it maintained well and was great! The beds also felt saggy and lumpy, so it may be time for some new mattresses. But the furniture itself was nice. The property was very peaceful and pretty. Really kind and friendly neighbors. Beautiful stream just a short walk away where we saw some small trout. Horses nearby. Super close to Ingles grocery store. Pretty cabin.

Quiet Location
During our stay at the property, we enjoyed linville falls and caverns and spent a large amount of time at the property resting in front of the wood fire. It was a very quiet and private property, a good experience to rest for a weekend and we look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful & Peaceful Getaway!
We absolutely loved our weekend away at Primose! Cabin was super clean & as cozy as could be. We grabbed food/wine on the way in at Ingles & I didn’t leave the cabin ONCE all weekend (except to walk down and check out the GORGEOUS river/pavilion at the bottom of the road.) We absolutely loved the wood burning fireplace & kept it going all weekend. Super cozy recliners in living room to curl up on & watch it burn. A 7 point deer came right up beside the driveway while we were in hot tub. Was also nice to have washer/dryer & the dryer came in handy for drying swimsuits after enjoying the hot tub. We slept in the loft upstairs & the sheets were like butter & we had a beautiful view upon waking up. I spent quite a bit of time reading on the porch swing with the sounds of the river below. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet getaway to the mountains, you won’t regret your time here.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
This is a well-appointed cabin located in a beautiful mountain setting. We enjoyed hikes along the river and made use of the jacuzzi on the deck. The kitchen is well-equipped for eating in -- and Burnsville is just a short drive for dining out/take-out. The cabin has a cozy fireplace and a supply of wood that was also a big plus for our family. Hope to return again!

Primrose stay
There was no cell service or working landline in the cabin. There was a landline phone but it did not work. It is unacceptable for guests to be stranded. I tried the first day and called and text the property manager many times. He said he would get the landline fixed. By Thursday it still was not repaired. I texted him and he replied the landline was not working and only cell service in the cabin. Again, there was no cell service. He did not respond to my text. I would not return without this issue being resolved. If you can't dial 911 what would happen in case of emergency. Main bathroom sink was clogged when I arrived and only half roll of toilet paper in main bathroom. Cabin is nice but no way to contact outside world is dangerous.

This cabin and property offered much more than just cabin and views. You have access to the entire 200 acres that includes 2 common areas by the Cane River where you can enjoy a pavilion and have a campfire. Also a small pond for fishing and pool. Will definitely stay here again!

Awesome getaway! Beautiful cabin with amazing views. Cabin is stocked with everything you need to feel at home. We stayed for our Christmas vacation and were delighted that it snowed. The surrounding property is beautiful and very quiet. Abundance of wildlife including deer and turkeys. Close enough to drive to surrounding attractions, but far enough away to feel secluded. Property manager very responsive.

Fantastic getaway in a well-appointed property
This was a lovely rental. The Cane river a little down the valley babbles along as you sit in the hot tub on the deck. The cabin was cute and cozy, and I have rarely stayed in a place that was as well set up to make it easy for us. Lots of kitchen staples, spices, supplies, and lots of firewood access (including kindling and starters) made our stay relaxing and easy.

Great little get away
This was a great property to stay at. It was a beautiful home and very clean. The only downside to renting this property is that even though the property had a gravel driveway that was away from everyone, one of the days we were there a woman came up to the property unannounced and was walking around the property/home.We had pets so naturally they went crazy and we were trying to figure out what was going on. Also, walking trails was not ideal mainly because ticks were terrible in the area. However, it's a great place If you want to find a little place to get away and stay in! Another perk is (even though there aren't many places to eat) the grocery store is not too far away!

Solo Birthday Trip
I booked this cabin last minute to celebrate my birthday and I am so glad I did. The cabin was clean, fully equipped, close enough to a grocery store and had plenty of activities laid out to participate in. I chose to do a hike. Every inch of the cabin ground is complimented by a peaceful and scenic view. The personal hot tub was the cherry on top! I'll remember this birthday for a long time.
