"Very comfortable and clean - everything you need and more is there. We were made to feel very welcome and loved our stay. Our 2 dogs were also made very welcome. We would have no problem recommending this property to others. "

"Bright, spacious & in a lovely location. Perfect for 2 couples or family of 4. There were chocolates & wine on arrival. Uncertainty about check in details, because I didn't receive the code to the key lock. Luckily the property was unlocked & key was inside. Issue with guttering kept us awake at night due to heavy rain. The maintenance man attempted to fix it on day 1 & day 2 without success, but since we were only there 3 nights, we didn't bother ringing him on day 3. Also, nowhere to dry wet...

"Loved the property and the living area and kitchen are bigger than they look in the photos, especially the living area. The location is close to a lot of lovely places to visit. The only issue I could see is the parking and I think this should be mentioned in the listing. We have a Qashqai and struggled to get the car far enough off the road to be safe without going into the ditch although it was very wet weather and the verge was very muddy. Also you wouldn't be able to have more than one car...

"Sheringham is a great base for fantastic birding along the coast. 2 Museum Cottages is a lovely quiet place to stay, although in the town centre. This time of year the cottage is a bit dark, but would be more cheery in the summer. Although small, the cottage has everything you need for a great stay."

"Rose Cottage in North Norfolk is a lovely dog-friendly place to stay. The property is old and full of character; comfortable and homely; quiet and safe for the dogs to roam off the lead. The location is only a few miles from the nearest town, supermarkets and other services. It is well placed for visiting coastal ports such as Wells and Cley-Next-The-Sea and Blakeney. Also country houses and estates such as Sandringham and Holkham. In the next village is the remarkable Holy shrine at Walsingham...

"An update of the photos would be beneficial as the kitchen has been beautifully renovated. I found the property to be clean, comfortable and inviting, however, additional cutlery would be useful as the only ones available are plastic and children’s sized. Although out of the property owners control, a barking dog kept me awake most nights, but, for my dogs the property was ideal with even a stair gate to prevent them going upstairs. There is also a really useful courtyard area at the back."

"Great location and sizeable property for just the two of us and our 2 dogs. Location is quiet,within easy reach of pebble beach, village with local pub and coffee shop. Easy access to the north Norfolk coast and inland areas and the many walks. Ideal for walkers and bird watchers. Property is adequately equipped, spacious with parking for 1 car, although you can park on the street, although would've like more info on the facilities that were to hand. "Beautiful cottage well equipped with a secure garden and a designated parking space in lovely little town of Holt. Two minutes walk into Holt with lovely places to eat and some great shops "

"No faults at all with the property which was excellent, but Cottages.com who host the property were very poor. My question whether the property had a travel cot and a high chair was eventually met with “the owner says not.” This was completely inaccurate as there were both, and of good quality."
