Waterfront Cabin on Lake Buchanan with private dock

Lake level, as of June 10 2024, water now accessible from our property. This charming cabin has everything you need for a lakeside getaway and just 15 minutes from the town of Burnet. You get lake views from almost every room in this house! The cozy three bedrooms all have comfortable queen size beds and plenty of space for your personal items. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare your meals. The dining room has seating for six and is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal or play a board game. From here you can go out on to the expansive deck that wraps around to the back of the house with gorgeous views of Lake Buchanan. Take your morning coffee on the back deck daybed and watch the ducks, heron and other native wildlife. Head back inside to the living room and enjoy the wood burning fireplace or a movie with the family. This room offers plenty of seating for everyone. Even two futons if you want to stretch out! The main floor has one full bathroom with a standup shower. Ready to head down to the lake? Take the stairs on the side of the property to yet another large deck and seating area with a comfy sectional! On this level you will find the second full bathroom and laundry room. This deck also leads to a large private dock, perfect for boating, swimming, fishing or stargazing. We have two kayaks and a paddleboard available for use as well.

Things to note about our property:
* There are stairs going up to the house and down to the lake.
*The road leading to our home is narrow please drive slow and take your time.
* Our driveway is steep feel free to park at the top if you aren't comfortable pulling down.
*We welcome children but be aware children will need to be supervised at all times as we have direct access to the lake.

Our Pet Policy:
*Pets must be leashed, we have a portion of the yard fenced but it is not pet proof and your furry friend could easily get out. The lakeside of our property is not fenced.
*Do not leave your pet unattended in our home. Please bring a crate if you plan on leaving.
* We prefer pets stay off furniture but if you know your fur baby just can't stay off please bring a blanket to cover our furniture.

We had a great time. This home shows great pride of ownership, and we could feel the love the owners have put into the home. Relaxing
Needing a getaway and with 4 adults and a 1 year old this was the perfect spot. We sat on the deck in the mornings and napped in the afternoons and finished a 500 piece puzzle. Cooking was a breeze although a few serving bowls would have been welcomed. The bedroom next to the dining use could benefit with a new mattress but it was a lovely room to enjoy the view of the lake. We would like to visit again!

Perfect getaway
Great house with a beautiful view and all the things you would need for a family outing. Driveway was steeper than anticipated and unfortunately the lake was so low we couldn’t enjoy the amenities that were offered, but we would still recommend this place to anyone wanting to get a way.

Graduation Mini-vacation
Lake side getaway for my daughters graduation trip, goal to relax and enjoy nature. The location and house didn’t disappoint. Even with the lake levels down we could easily access the water to use kayaks, fish and swim. Also close to state parks- Longhorn cavern and Inks lake where we enjoyed hiking. Marble Falls close enough to shop and movies as well. House provided everything we needed. Lots of extra lounging spots for naps, too.

This property hosts are incredibly generous and provide all that you need. It is a cute cabin'ish like place. I think 4 grownups is more than enough or a couple with 3 small children. We enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful retreat
Our family enjoyed the Dean's lake house. It was super clean and the layout was perfect for hanging out, eating and playing. Really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lake with comfy day beds and the lower patio with couch and tiki bar. We will certainly return and hopefully the lake will be over 90% full. Thanks!

This comfy cabin has everything! Board games, movies, kayaks, floaties, great kitchen, fans, good ac. Plenty of room to hang out! Even though the lake was low we could still take a dip and enjoy the beautiful location. Very nice hosts!

Our family had an incredible stay July 8th-12th! Even with the lake being low we were able to enjoy every amenity provided by not just our amazing hosts but also enjoyed our time at Ink’s State Park! Amazing stay with family
The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The hosts thought of possibly everything you might need for your stay. A lot of really thoughtful touches, and a welcome surprise for the family. Loved having access to the dock where we could use our SUP's, etc. Only downside is that the driveway was a bit steep for my car so had to park at the top, but our 2nd vehicle is a bit higher up and no problem going up and down. Just something to keep in mind if you have a smaller car and have trouble with mobility. Overall we had a lovely stay and would love to return.

Perfect retreat for family
We had such a wonderful visit! The house was perfect size for us to each have our own space ( 2 couples, 1 young adult and 1 child ). The Deans were super responsive and Rodney even came to help us out when the dvd remote quit working! We spent lots of time in the shade on the porches (upstairs AND downstairs). The property managers had everything we could possibly need stocked in the house (sunscreen, bug spray, toiletries, life jackets, and even a sun hat that came to the rescue when I realized I left mine at home!) They put such thought into the small details that made our trip so enjoyable :) There was a case of water in the fridge on the porch, the freezer had bags of cubed ice for drinks, inflated water floats ready to use and even a tray and jug of water for a foot rinse station! We loved how everything in the house was labeled which made things so easy to find. Also, there were instructions for a few things (fire pit, thermostat and TV set up ) which was very helpful! Overall, we only have good things to say about our stay and definitely plan to return!

Great Lake House on Lake Buchanan
The house was great for our group of 4 adults. There are three bedrooms and one full bath. There are multiple places to relax inside and outside of the house. There is a dock where one the members of our party enjoyed fishing. Also provided were an assortment of recreational items- kayaks, paddle board, inner tubes for floating on the lake. The location is about 8 miles from the town of Burnet which has an HEB and several restaurants. This is a perfect house and location for a relaxing weekend at the lake.

Beautiful clean home with an awesome view
My family rented this cottage over spring break . The location is ideal and the home is beautiful and very clean . It sits right on the lake and we enjoyed stunning views of the lake from the wrap around poarch. The home is well stocked and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the home. We also enjoyed the kayaks, and paddle board which the host have on the property for use only wish the water was a little warmer. There is no wiifi but it was a great way for the family to relax and enjoy each other .We will definitely be back !
