"I have always wanted to visit Rye after l heard about it on the radio. I was not disappointed. The Ship Inn staff were very welcoming, the food was lovely and also the atmosphere, you felt that the staff were happy in their work. We had our rather large dog with us, who settled quickly to his different surroundings. Also a sausage treat now and then was welcomed. "Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house.
