"The Abode Canterbury is an excellent hotel located in the heart of Canterbury. From a convenience point of view, everything is close by - you've got a convenience store, lots of restaurants, and easy walking distance to the cathedral and other visitor attractions. The staff was friendly and service was excellent. For North American travelers looking for king size beds, this hotel does have them, but you need to ask for "Super King" beds specifically. If we find ourselves in England again and an Abode hotel is available, we would absolutely consider staying there again."

"Really lovely place to stay. The view from our bedroom was beautiful (well-manicured golf course) and our bathroom was brand new. Our room was clearly well sound-proofed as we didnt hear a thing when we were in our room (Kimberley). Service was kind and polite. There is no sauna anymore but there is a swimming pool. Decent breakfast. Only slight issue was we noticed an electric socket was a bit loose, other than that couldnt have faulted the stay."

"Lovely hotel, super friendly staff, really comfy bed, nice shower, all perfect! Little walk to Folkestone central, but short walk out the front door down the beach, which was gorgeous. "

"The staff were fantastic and the location is brilliant. There was some good breakfast options. The room was big and had been nicely made up for our family of four with a camp bed and a sofa bed."
