"It was our 20th anniversary and we enjoyed everything. The supply of cookware, including the barbecue and blackstone, along with the amenties of Roku tvs, other cooking options like the rice cooker and air fryer, plenty of seasonings and coffee, and toiletries was amazing! The location was beautiful and had plenty of options for relaxing in nature. The host was awesome, even letting us know about points of interest nearby."

"What an amazing spot! So quiet, beautiful and peaceful, which is what we were looking for. The Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The Fairmount General store in Hemphill had everything we (forgot to bring) needed and the people are SO friendly. We'd come back and stay here for sure!"

"So needed to get a hotel as my vehicle went down in the middle of the night, not far outside of Jasper. Got on Hotels.com and saw this had good ratings and a fair price. Got a room booked and managed to uber over. Facility is aged but is fairly well kept up, room itself is dated but cozy. Very spacious, no strange smells, stains, spots or holes any place. Lots of sitting area, recliner, queen bed, sofa, and desk area with pull out chair. Bed itself is ok, not terrible but not extremely plush. There is a small offering for breakfast, which is a plus albeit I didn't expect it so it's a pleasant surprise. Staff was extremely friendly, very polite and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I didn't have any issues with sound leaking through the walls or with other guests coming and going, very low on the noise pollution side of things, even in the morning when people are generally leaving. WiFi was fairly good; I was able to handle some work meetings and stream teleconferences with it without much issue. Overall, I would stay here again if needed. It was around 30 dollars cheaper than other offerings in the area at the time and I needed a place to sleep off having to make an emergency stop. I would give it a solid 4 stars, great spot, could use a pinch of improvements but what's there doesn't hinder you from having a good budget friendly place to stop in the area."
