Great weekend getaway!
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time for a short winter weekend. Would love to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy all the amenities. Property was great, easy to get to, and completely accurate listing. We had a great relaxing stay.

Amazing place
We loved this place. We had a little weekend getaway with family and friends. We had a blast swimming in the lake, fishing, canoeing, and relaxing in the hot tub. The views are gorgeous and the area is very peaceful. The host were super friendly and great with communication!

Beautiful Property with lots of activities to enjoy around. Loved the outdoor bar and decor.
Just wanted to go enjoy the water for a weekend and got more than could’ve hoped for. Easy access for fishing whether off the dock or taking the free boat launch down the road, numerous creeks to go kayaking or walk down.

Amazing Family Getaway
We absolutely loved staying here! The neighborhood is great and is a close proximity to the state park, recreational area, and convenience store. This house is perfect for families with young children as there is so much to keep them entertained. From the dock on the grounds for fishing, to the hammock and kids rope course, to the bookshelf filled with games, they definitely had so much to do. Many memories were made here this week. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home.

So much to do!
We arrived to a clean and inviting property and were pleasantly surprised by the expansive backyard. The hot tub was super relaxing and we enjoyed the fire pit and dock. There’s even a little ropes course thing that was really fun! We played games, completed some puzzles, and made hotdogs. It was truly a perfect stay! We highly recommend this place!

Really cool place to stay near the water. Renovation they did was nice as well. Great place to relax and forget about every day life. Guests also left us a card and cupcakes for our wedding anniversary which was really nice of them.

Amazing Getaway
Photos do this property no justice. Absolute best location for a family getaway. Quiet neighborhood house was fully furnished with necessities anything you needed was provided. We loved the outdoor kitchen and deck to fish from. Kids swam right by the dock and caught several fish. We will be back soon. Thanks for being a great host!

Perfect Getaway!
We absolutely enjoyed this house. Feels like home. Very clean and so peaceful. They have anything you could possibly need. Our lab enjoyed the trip as well. The ONLY thing I would suggest with bringing a pet, make sure your dog isn’t picky. There isn’t much grass for them to use the bathroom and it was a fight every night. No fault to the home owners at all..it’s camping life. Maybe we just have a spoiled pup lol. We will be back!

Fun family getaway
We absolutely loved staying at this camp. The house was cozy. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked, which I liked. The backyard is beautiful. We will plan a trip in the fall or winter so we can utilize the fire pit area. The dock was the perfect size for our family and 2 dogs. We also caught a good amount of fish. When we first seen the listing it showed only one toilet, which we worried about, but there are actually two. The owner was very nice and fast at replying to all my questions before we got there. Family getaway was a success!

Overall nice place - A couple issues
Generally enjoyed our 3 night stay. Property was clean and well stocked. Description of 2 bathrooms is a little of a stretch as one of the showers is 2ft x 2ft and located in the watercloset. It was too small to even consider using and the sink for that bathroom was actually in the bedroom. Largest issue was the strong methane gas smell inside and outside. Host replied quickly to my message and had a neighbor (who was lovely) come by with deoderizers. It helped but only slightly. The smell may keep us away from booking again although I do acknowledge that the issue is probably not an easy fix for the host.

Peace & Tranquility
NEEDING A GETAWAY FROM CITY LIFE, WELL THIS IS IT!! AS SOON AS YOU OPEN THE DOOR THERES AN INSTANT SENSE OF CALM THAT RUSHES OVER YOU! ITS WARM, COZY AND THE VIEW IS AMAZING!! HOT TUB I LIVED IN THE ENTIRE WEEKEND, SITTING ON THE DOCKS AND WATCHING OUR KIDS. HUSBAND IN THE CANOE AND GRILLING IT UP ON THE OUTSIDE PATIO WITCH WAS SO ENTERTAINING WITH THE LUGHTS ALL ATOUND. NOT TO MENTION THE HOSTD HAVE THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING WITH APPLIANCES, COOKWARE AND SILVERWARE, A HOME AWAY FROM HOME. WHENEVER I HAD QUESTIONS THEY RESPONDED RIGHT BACK, SO LOVE THEM!! I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO TAKE YOU AND YOURS AND HEAD ON DOWN TO BURKEVILLE, NO REGRETS, NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!!

Excellent Place to Stay
My family and a few friends stayed here for my daughter's sweet 16. The place was easy to find, clean, and well stocked. I loved the fact there were so many options for sitting outside. Unfortunately, Tropical Storm Beryl occupied 2 of our days but there were so many other activities to do the teenagers never got bored. The dock was a lot of fun and even with all of the rain we managed to fish everyday.
