Cozy!
The house is very comfortable and well stocked! Great location if you are planning to go to the lake for the day. We did catch fish at the house. Ramp is slick but we took a broom and bucket and cleaned a spot and it was great. I would stay here again anytime. We had four adults and two kids with room for more comfortably!! Tons of wildlife in the front and back yard made for more great views!

We had a great family vacation at this property! The house had everything we needed. Beautiful area. The only complaint was the outside deck was dirty and unable to use boat dock. We wanted just to sit down there and watch the sunset but unable because you will fall if you go down there. All in all nice property.

If you want to get away from the noise of the city this is the place to be. The place was quiet and peaceful. The owner was wonderful about answering questions that I may have had. The property was clean and welcoming. The inside was just as wonderful. Would stay here again.

We took our mostly adult kids on vacation. The house was perfect as a home base. We were disappointed that the boat dock was slippery and basically couldn’t use for swimming. We did get our kayaks in to the side and explore a little. Spent the rest of the days exploring Dale Hollow, Mammoth Caves and renting boats at Sunset Marina. Jason was great at communicating. The house had everything we needed. Nice little town and the Mexican restaurant is great. Don’t forget to visit Kountry Kitchens store

The house had clean sheets, but was lacking in surfaces being clean. The rugs in the hall bath had something spilled on them when we arrived. We had to call the owner to get access to the home when it was past 4 pm on check in day. He was very responsive then. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Little slice of heaven
My family and I absolutely fell in love with the house, the proximity to the river, and the nearby town of Burkesville. The house is located not far from town, but has the feel of being much further. Deer and turkey in the yard every morning and evening and we actually managed to catch a few trout as well. The interior has a clean and modern feel, well lit, open concept. There are only two negatives that we could think of, and they are very minor. First, there was an old plate of food left in the microwave from a previous tenant. Easily overlooked by the cleaning crew. And second, there are no ceiling fans. Our family has slept with fans for forever, so it was hard to adjust. Aside from the very minor gripes, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this property!

Overall the property was as listed. We had to clean the floors and countertops ( lots of crumbs) and clean one of the bathrooms when we arrived. The yard had not been recently mowed which was surprising since we had come for the holiday weekend. Other than those things it was a comfortable and cute property with a great launch for out kayaks.

Great getaway
We had an amazing time here with great friends, food and fishing. Property is as advertised, very clean, spacious and steps from the river. We saw lots of deer and the day we left a bunch turkeys. We will definitely be back!
