I think the hotel rooms are in need of refurbishing as they are quite dated. "Not being able to find a room anywhere, the proprietor agreed to stay way beyond their hours to accommodate me. All that with Charme and Grace very Late at night- almost into the wee hours. The lady could not have been more gracious. I'll recommend this Hotel to all my friends and anybody else in a heartbeat !! I'm glad I found that hotel, and I'll be back . Thank you Wolfgang Oeller"

"Stayed for two nights. Location is nice with free bus connection to the city center. Service and front desk personell was friendly. Issues: - Property is worn down (except for the remodeled bathrooms). - Cleaning staff entered the room twice while still sleeping - ANTS! Minibar area and desk was clearly invaded by ants and even after complaining at the front desk, no action was taken / no alternative was offered to us (e.g. another room). "What an exceptionally outstanding hotel. Everything about it is wonderful. From the setting where apples grow to the views of the mountains. In our three week tour of Europe this is by far the nicest staff. Our room was large with a balcony and sitting area. While there is no restaurant onsite, they do serve breakfast which was delicious.
