This retreat provides 360 degree views of the scenic Texas Hill Country plus numerous amenities. Situated on 9 acres, this secluded property offers exploring the land,, wild life sightings, beautiful sunrises/sunsets and star gazing. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway, extended stay. We offer 1 night stays Mon-Thursday during off peak season (Fall & Winter) excluding holidays.
Conveniently located 20 minutes from downtown New Braunfels where you can float the Guadalupe or Comal rivers, enjoy a day at Schlitterbahn, the World’s #1 Water Park, dance the night away in the oldest dance hall in Texas, Gruene Hall in historic Gruene. 20 minutes from Canyon Lake, the Horseshoe on the Guadalupe river, and Whitewater Amphitheater. 30 mins from downtown San Antonio, 30 mins from Bourne, 45 mins from Austin, and 60 mins from Fredericksburg.

Perfect for river float trips, a day at Canyon Lake, German pub crawls in downtown New Braunfels, wine tours in Fredericksburg or a night out on 6th Street in Austin.

This gorgeous 4 bdrm, 3.5 bath home will comfortably fit 10 people and features a spacious gourmet kitchen with a gas stove, full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and all cooking and dining utensils. Complimentary coffee, cream & sugar. A wet bar for entertaining, indoor fireplace, home office (which serves as a 4th bedroom).

Custom home movie theater with HD projector, 8 ft screen, and surround sound speakers. Media Streaming, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple, Disney+, ESPN, Paramount+ offere, along with access to many of the latest movie releases.

1200 sq. ft. patio with plenty of seating, an outdoor bar and barbecue, and outdoor fireplace.

Security Cameras are located at the front gate and along the driveway. There is a Ring Camera doorbell at the front door.

You may bring additional overnight guests for an additional $30/person/night after 10 people. Approval is needed for additional guest.

We are located on the property and will accommodate your wishes whether it be for assistance or privacy.

We do not allow for events.

The surrounding neighborhood is country living. Very quiet and private. You cannot see the neighbors.

You may book online using a credit card and the 'Book It' feature or via check or cash. Please note, if paying by credit card, there is a 3% fee applied. Contact us for more information.

Breathtaking & Spacious
We stayed here during our daughter’s wedding weekend! There was plenty of room inside and out with an extra hidden gem (media room) It was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful and very close to the Milestone venue! The owner of the VRBO was just a phone call away & very helpful with any questions we had!

We stay here every sumner for our family trip to Schlitterbahn. Lots of space for everyone. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts are great to work with. We will be back next year!

Everything about this property and stay was amazing. It was very clean and an elegant place to stay for our group of 8 ladies. We would love to stay at this property again, but maybe in the spring to enjoy all it has to offer. The owners were available for any and all questions that we had, which only added to the amazingness (if that's a word).

The property is lovely. Our family enjoyed the outdoor patio, the spacious bedrooms and living areas to spend time together between wedding festivities near by in Spring Branch. Rhino Ranch was a perfect backdrop for a great family weekend. The owners have created a beautiful and unusual home and we had a great weekend!

Amazing House--we had the perfect time!
The house far exceeded my expectations---it was more beautiful in person than the pictures! We had a large group of 12 and it accommodated us fine, with room to spare! The outdoor patio was my favorite part and we loved sitting out by the fire. Could not have picked a more perfect place for a family get-together!

We spent the weekend here for our sons wedding. It was perfect for us a the proximity to the Lost Missions Wedding venue was an added bonus. The house was just beautiful! The location was excellent for the wedding reception we attended, less than 10 minutes away! We asked for more water in the dispenser and they were there within the hour! I would recommend a light out by the gate off the highway to find the turn more easily. Overall, very accommodating!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! Everything was perfect. Especially the baby armadillo in the front flower bed! The entire experience was as promised on the description. It was a very comfortable home for my parents and adult children. Wonderful gathering space and everyone had their own bedrooms and bathrooms, which was perfect for our fast trip. So clean and well equipped. We'll be back!

Beautiful hill country views with nice outdoor entertaining area
Overall, we enjoyed staying at the Rhino Ranch. The house was spacious enough for our group of 8 and offered beautiful views of the hill country. It was also located just far enough outside of the city that it was quiet at night but only a short drive into town. While the house offered great views, an amazing outdoor entertaining area, and ample space, a few of the amenities were not functioning, and the tile on the back porch was extremely slippery when wet.

Great place, fun times!
Our group had a great stay. The property is beautiful and well equiped. The fold out Temperpedic couch is pretty thin, so no one but a kid could really find it comfortable. I would recommend moving one of the beds from the double room into that office to open up one more comfortable private space for a couple. Other than that we had a blast. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

AMAZING!
This property far exceeded our expectations! Pictures do not do this place justice! The space was perfect for our family! Very open and spacious! The kids loved the movie room, and every family was able to have their own bathroom. We had plans to leave and go out to venture the town, but had to stay in most of the time to enjoy the beautiful view. 10/10 recommend to anyone, and we will definitely be repeat customers! This place was so beautiful and everyone could not stop complimenting the beauty of this decor and design. The house is unique and beautiful, and the owners were helpful and welcoming! It was even decorated for the holidays (a wonderful surprise)! It's a great property for anyone looking for a bit of space and quiet. But it's still in an area close to many things to do. We couldn't enjoy any of the activities nearby because of COVID, but it's close to many things in San Antonio, New Braunfels, and the Hill Country. It's also great that it's a one-story with no interior stairs, which was great for father with Alzheimers (no need to climb stairs). We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful property, many amenities in kitchen for cooking and serving. Loved theatre room. Only 1 issue- it was too warm in the house especially at night. Called the caretaker and was told a/c units already switched to heat so we would have to open door and windows and use fans provided. It was not cool enough.
