"My wife and I go to Southend often and found the Hamiltons Boutique Hotel which we haven't stayed in before. We had a message in the morning to confirm what time we'll be arriving which I thought was a nice touch. We had a lovely welcome and being out of season, we was given the Hamilton Suite with a sea view. The whole hotel was lovely and clean and bright with lots of light. The next morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast each. 100% will be out "go to" hotel when we go to Southend now. Great...

"It's nice a clean place. You will find everything you need close by: daily shops, pharmacy, restaurants and so on. And most importantly the train station is right behind the house. Furthermore, there are so many bus stops all around the building. I enjoyed a nice view from the kitchen. The owner was very kind and friendly. "Overall it was ok for one night but regarding the room condition nothing changed as per the last reviews. I was given a double bed room but actually it was two single beds and there was a big crack in the middle of the two single mattresses, I couldn't sleep whole night due to this, whole next day my back was hurting. Don't forget to lift the mattresses and you will be surprised to find that the bed base frame is actually broken and there were couple of wooden planks been put there to support...
