"We have stayed at this hotel many times and keep on returning, which is the best recommendation we can give. The reception staff is always alert and willing to help. There are few "down issues" one being a chronic problem trying to turn off lights over the bed. It is an electric wiring defect. Again, reception staff are ready to help. I have not stayed at many hotels in Varna, but will return to the Golden Tulip when the time comes"

"Nice small family hotel. Our room had an amazing view of the sea and was great for relaxing. On the other hand parking was challenging and the Wi-Fi was non existent. If you list that there is internet in each room I expect it to work. There was no signal except in one corner area and it kept cutting in and out. This would have not been an issue if my trip was for vacation. I was trying to work and it was impossible to do so."

"front desk staff was so nice. I arrived very early and she was able to let me into my room earlier than the check in time! The transit system around the hotel is very good and there is a great gas station next to the hotel convenience. It is also very close and walkable to many major sites, the beach, museums and more. The room itself was very clean, it was a HUGE room. The bed was comfortable and the re was more than enough space to relax."

"I recently booked a stay at this hotel through Expedia, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. Upon arriving at the hotel the room was not ready and was dirty (even though it was already 3pm). When we asked for towels the "clean" ones that were provided had a ball of hair inside and stains. Later in the evening we were stunned from disgust and horror when we discovered multiple worms in the bathroom in the evening. The worms were alive and crawling on the floor, which would make...

"Nice rooms but pools were missing tiles. I had higher expectations of the restaurant for a five star hotel. Some of the local staff members were rude - especially this middle aged male server who almost yelled at me for wanting a drink. He messed up the drink anyway - ordered a Cabernet and he brought me white wine. The bellboy was very kind and helpful but the lady at the reception who checked us in was merely mean. Long wait times for everything. Tiny indoor pool."
