I paid for this room in advance, in October of 2016, For a stay from feb 01 to feb 08. When I arrived the manager said the owner (who handles all the bookings) had not informed him that I had a reservation. The owner insisted they had not been paid and insisted I pay cash to the hotel if I wanted to stay. After talking to a few other guests it seems the hotel had been sold in and around the time I made the reservation. I called hotels.com and they did try to contact the owner and the manger to resolve this but neither picked up the phone and talked to hotels.com. I suspect what happened is the old owner got my money and did not tell the new owner. I did receive a reply from the new owner stating this had happened once before. As far as I am concerned hotels.com did everything right, they paid the older owner. This should have been a problem between the old and new owner. Instead the new owner made it my problem. I resolved this by leaveing and going to a different hotel.
