"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Five of us stayed very comfortably. We could have easily had twice that many. There was a misunderstanding about towels and such. It was entirely my fault. This was my first experience with a self-service place and I didn’t read the instructions completely. Complicated by a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

"This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"My family and I ( four adults and three children) spent a week recently in this house in Alpirsbach. The house was clean, functional, comfortable, quiet and in a residential neighborhood. The location is within walking distance to the old and new parts of the village of Alpirsbach inclusive of grocery stores, the Alpirsbacher brewery, Gasthaus', bakeries and sundry village shops. "Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt in dem „großen Tiny House“. Man fühlt sich sofort wie daheim 😊 Alles ist liebevoll, individuell gestaltet, durchdacht und gemütlich. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, zusätzlich gibt es noch Extras wie ein Trampolin und eine eigene Bergbahn (bei der sogar die Durchsagen und Türöffnung noch funktionieren). Auf der Veranda und dem Garten ist man wunderbar ungestört mit Weitblick ins schöne Umland - herrlich zum Grillen oder den Sonnenuntergang...

"The house is very well equiped and has very kind and helpful owners. Great location near Swarzwald (north) for hikes. Cities like Baden-baden and Strasbourg are nearby (30 minutes. For the warm days there is a nice lake for swimming (Grauelsbaum) at 5 minutes drive."

"Fantastic house, stunning location. The house was large enough to accommodate 7 adults and 7 children without getting under each others feet. Manfred was excellent at communicating with us, very prompt replies with good advice. Mr and Mrs Hess were absolute stars, they couldn't have more patient with us non-speaking Germans and very charming couple. The house itself is situated within easy driving distance from many places of interest to visit."

"The house is located in a small and peaceful village in the Northern Black Forest. It is huge. Perfect for a big group/family. It is equipped with everything (incliding a nice sauna) and all the equipment worked perfectly. Big kitchen, nice dining room, good beds. Highly recommended."
