This made all the difference and it was a perfect place for a family holiday, my son thoroughly enjoyed himself, as did we!"

The only problem was the size of my room I went with my teen son and it would have ok for a couple or single room but definitely not with a teenager. "Had a lovely stay in a very comfortable room with a huge balcony and fantastic sea views. The Indoor swimming pool and hot tubs were also great for the winter months - nice and warm and not too busy, so you were still able to swim. The building work is ongoing, but I did not find this disruptive at all even when sat outside. The entrance and parking area are a bit messy and rough, as is the path to the bus stop - not so easy with a suitcase. Bus stop 10 min walk away with regular service to Mellieha for some alternative dining options, or a Bolt was around 5 Euro. Airport direct bus also stops there - though was very busy between Mdina and St Pauls. Breakfast tasty and plentiful - lots of fruit, yoghurts and fresh omelettes. Had dinner in the Italian twice and lunch in Kofi & Kale twice - both enjoyable. The peninsula around the hotel is very pretty, and I had a lovely walk around the couple of bays, with stunning views over to Comino and crystal blue waters. Also an easy 20-minute walk to the ferry terminal over to Gozo - a well worthwhile trip."

We tried three of the restaurants and they were all good but the Italian we visited twice as the service and food were superb."
