"We were super happy with our unit. The three bedrooms were good size. The TV in the main area was easy to set up with our gaming system. The kitchen and fridge we also good size and can handle a fair amount of groceries. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The deck was nice and had a beautiful view of the river and dam. If we come back to Alma, we will most certainly stay here again and perhaps rent an additional unit for more friends we'd like to come out with us. "

"This property is lovely and worked out very well for our family of four. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and furniture, and a nice kitchen with all the basics. "We had a very nice stay at the Big River Inn! The unit looked just like the photos. The location is great; you can walk to numerous places to eat or grab a beer. There are museums, places to hike, and so much scenic beauty close by. The hosts were great with their communication. The only downside (as others have noted) is that you will hear trains here, although they seem quieter at night. "

"Property is in a beautiful historical building located within walking distance of many downtown establishments. Also took advantage of the bike trails in the area. Enjoyed the full kitchen stocked with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Only suggestion might be to upgrade with more comfortable funiture in the living room area. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay! "

"Would definitely stay here again. Comfortable (love the memory foam mattresses) and extremely clean and well stocked. We debated staying in Winona and are so thankful we didn’t (the traffic!) This was the perfect location for hitting all the state parks in this corner of MN. One thing to clarify: the bathroom is inside the bedroom so the living room guests have to enter the bedroom at night. A couple of things we would change if we could: a regular coffee maker would be great. My coffee-drinker...

"There were six adults and an infant staying in the house. One of my sons opted to stay in a hotel instead of using the air mattress.. The bedrooms were nice, and comfortable The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was no high chair as listed in the description but most of our meals were eaten out.so that wasn’t a problem."
