Nice Hotel, very well Located!
The hotel is very well located, that is the best feature of the hotel. Hotel Staff is very nice and ready to help. Close to the hotel on a walking distance you can find shopping centers, ATM, supermarket, restaurants, Metro Stations, Obelisco, Corrientes Street.

Ok hotel in downtown buenos Aires
Smelly hallways , rest of the stay was Ok. We couldn't rest well Saturday night because there is a night club right across from the hotel . The beds were not very confortable either

good enough if you do not need excellent wifi
On the positive side, first the breakfast, go for it! Be careful and review your room details, I am sure I chose the " breakfast included" option during the reservation process but then it was not included in my details. I paid for it on spot, worth it. The room is big, clean and in a modern style. Service is good, location is convenient. Things the hotel could improve: add a hanger and a trash bin in the room wifi is free but service is bad, it disconnects all the time and it is slow when it works lights are a bit dim in the bathroom and the room itself the room is cleaned after 2 pm, should be earlier we e-mailed the hotel to ask about parking, the reply came two days after, when we had already paid for an expensve parking place add decaf for breakfast, at least instant decaf

Wifi was very poor. Dropping out every five minutes and often inaccessible. Hotel staff were'mystified' as to how I couldn't get a signal yet I received an apology in writing on my final day to dat they were upgrading entire system and sorry for inconvenience. Bathroom was tired.

Four great nights - a very safe area for an older, solo woman traveller. Staff very friendly and helpful. Self-service breakfast was exemplary and the young man made delicious omelettes.

Very nice hotel to stay
This hotel is very nicely situated close to good shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. It is also only about a 15 minute walk from the Buquebus terminal if you are thinking of going to Uruguay. Staff is very friendly and helpful but English is a challenge but workable for those who have very limited Spanish. Rooms are very comfortable and everything is well kept. Wifi worked well too. Would recommend this hotel quite highly.

Excellent location - good
Quick check-in with the voucher. Rooms are clean and functional. Breakfast is good. Not a luxury hotel. Focus is on cleaningness and simplicity. Family friendly. Rooms facing Esmeralda street on the five lower floors may notice some street noise, but is not a problem.

Tired hotel, but with a great breakfast
The Rochester M has been given a renovation of the main lobby area, but the rooms are still a bit tired, and were rather noisy with a window clanking about in the wind. It's in a good location, close to downtown Buenos Aires, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

We were only in transit through Buenos Aires for a day and a half, but we enjoyed what we saw. The only drawback was caused by roadworks which prevented the transfer vehicles from getting close to the hotel.

A great place to stay
We had 4 nights at this hotel. The location is brilliant, right next to a subte, a lavanderia was opposite and a selection of local shops was close by. You can walk everywhere in Microcentro from here or take the subte. There is even a shop opposite where you can change money safely at a good rate. We had a bedroom and sitting room which gave a feeling of space, and free wifi in the room! There was a coffee maker and fridge although no coffee or tea were provided (took some from the breakfast room!). Our only minor gripes were the coffee pot had a crack and leaked and the bathroom was fine but not luxurious. Although we had to pay extra, the buffet breakfasts were excellent. The staff spoke English and were extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again when next in BA, great value for money.
