Good overal hotel for the price and location
the WIFI works well, the hotel is near the Florida shopping street and there are many restaurants to choose from. Due to the street renovation and changes of streets been closed the traffic is not good during morning rush hour. The hotel is quiet and it is suitable for both tourist as for business traveler.

Terrific hotel
Excellent hotel in all ways, very helpful with any issues. Good food and service, very secure. Great location if you are looking at being in the inner city area, close to everything. Left very early and they had prepared a breakfast early for us. Highly recommend.

Better suited for fun than business
This hotel is in a prime location, but due to its location, it could be noisy. The higher levels in the interior of the hotel do not have much noise issue. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My rating would have 5 if not because of their internet. It is simply not designed for business. First, they use browser-base validation, which I had to reconnect everytime I locked my laptop or moved my iPad. Second, it is only wireless, even though my room was advertised as wired and wireless. And finally, the wifi connection was spotty at best. Everythig else was great.

good size room, good air condition, great breakfast included, and the hotel is walking distance to Florida and there are many good restaurants at low price, same as coffe places. the only issue is the traffic to get to the hotel...but in Buenos Aires the traffic is terrible. I have stayed in this hotel several times. for business and family.

My third stay at Elevage. The hotel is attractive and well-maintained, and staff is top-notch. Rooms are not spacious but plenty big enough. We had booked a double room with a rollaway bed, and the room was completely set up when we arrived (unlike many hotels where you'd need to call two or three times to get the rollaway). I like the location (Retiro) also; it's centrally located so you don't have to take cabs everywhere, and lots of good restaurants nearby.

Great hotel, great location and great price.
Great experience here. Location is perfect, only a block from all the shopping, a couple blocks from the train station and there is a subway stop 1/2 block away. Staff was great, I broke a tooth on the plane and one of the reception staff got be into his dentist which happened to only be a few blocks away. I was seen within 15 minutes and received excellent treatment for an incredibly inexpensive cost. We walked almost everywhere and only took the subway once we got tired.

Pleasant Hotel
We had booked a Queen Room. Picture on Expedia showed a room with a Queen Bed. When checking in, were told they had no Queen Rooms at all, so we got a room with two double beds. "Fitness Room" has two stationary bikes and two small treadmills. At least, better than nothing. No individual temperature controlls for A/C, only a three speed fan control.

GREAT HOTEL TO STAY AT!!!
Great service!!!! I called and let them know that I was coming with a broken leg and on crutches. They organized a wheelchair for me and had rubber mats in the bathroom to make sure I did not slip and were willing to do whatever was needed to make my stay safe and comfortable. I visit B.A. once every two years and this will be my hotel.

Fantastic hotel in great location for great value
Great hotel in excellent condition in a great location. The value was excellent. We paid less for this 4 star hotel than a 3 star hotel down the street (San Antonio - which we later stayed at as part of a tour) and there was no comparison. Elevage was miles above that one. Breakfast is fantastic as well, but don't be late, they clean up the minute the time is over.

Very nice hotel. Great location for shopping. Staff was friendly and most of them spoke very good english. Our wilves stayed there while my friend and I were hunting and the folks at the hotel took very good care of them and made them feel safe and secure. The bed was a little hard for me and the airconditioning was a bit erratic but other than that it was an excelent stay.

Good hotel very central to shopping, one block from florida shopping mall were you can buy all the leather products you like . Plenty of eating places around and a 10 minute walk to the obliesk monument and a 15 minute walk to bus and train stations , Hotel was very good for service and breakfast. Highly recommend it.

Close to Florida walking street and 15 min walk to Recoleta. Also next to the subway. The subway is quite easy to use. All rides are AR$2.50. So, just show how many people with your fingers. Every station has a tickets counter. Watch out for the cab ride from airport. We paid AR$798 at the Radio Taxi counter at the airport. Later we found out that it should only be ~200.

Elevage Hotel close to the large shopping streets
Reception and the bell boys are very helpfull. The dining area is rather uncomfortable and the buffet breakfast is not organised in the best way. Wifi was weak and only worked after 1/2 discussion with the receptionist who insisted it was working. The room could hae done with 1 more arm chair. No desk to work on. quite nice if you are just tourist.

This hotel is right in the middle of everything so very convenient. It is standard hotel but quite adequate and one of few in the centre to have a pool. The "W Bar" downstairs serves excellent food and wine at reasonable prices. I would really recommend the hotel for overall value. Just be aware though that a "standard", "executive" or "superior" room means the same type of room.

Close to Tourist Sites and Great Conceige Service
I stayed at the Elevage Buenos Aires for 3 days on my return from Ushuaia after a 10-day cruise to the Antarcrica. While I arrived in the middle of the night (0200), I thought it was in an area with nothing around,but when I go up and made my way out the next day, I found that I was actually a few blocks from where many of the sights and shopping areas were located. I was also within walking distance of the "9 of Julio" Avenue which is the widest thoroughfare in the world (or so I'm told). Since I had returned from Ushuaia on 30 Dec, I wasn't sure I'd be able to find reservations for New Year's Eve but the conceige (front desk clerk) was able to get me reservations so that I could bring in the new year with the locals. It was a dinner show with music and tango dancers. I had a great time, I would recommend the Elevage for anyone staying in Buenos Aires. The price was great for the location and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was also included in the cost of the room and there was many things to choose from.
