"This is a nice and well kept historical property. The room was clean and pleasant. It had a great shower. The bed was plush and comfortable. I enjoyed looking through the room with historical memorabilia next to the office. The visitors center and trail for the natural bridge were right across the street. The only downside was the food at the restaurant was terrible, although the proprietors were very kind. "

"This is a lovely historic place to stay. As such, there are some deficits, such as no elevators. However, there is a choice of restaurants in a wide price and style range, within a block or two. There are multiple shops. The entire downtown is kept in beautiful historic condition. It was definitely a place I will stay again. "

"Staff was great, bathroom was very clean but rest needed abit more, rug needed sweeping and computer chair was completely sticky which was easily cleaned with warm water, microwave had not been cleaned at all. Linen on the bed was completely clean, not sure what happened maybe housekeeper got called away and forgot to finish."
