Wonderful setting in beautiful part of North Cornwall in peaceful grounds

A beautiful refurbished self catering 2 bedroom chalet at Penstowe Holiday Park in the village of Kilkhampton (EX23) - 5 miles from Bude in North Cornwall. Chalet is in grounds of a Manor House in several acres of woods

NO SMOKING IN CHALET. NO PETS

Sleeps 4 Double and twin Wardrobes/chest of drawers Shower room with washbasin toilet and heated towel rail
Through lounge/fully fitted kitchen area including microwave and freestanding cooker

We have had an amazing time. Thanks to Trish for allowing us to stay in her wonderful chalet we have been able to visit our favourite place again after 10 years. The chalet itself is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Communication with Trish from beginning to end was easy and effortless. Great host and great value. Perfect for our needs. Definitely recommend.
Communication from the host was faultless. Great value. Would book again. The ‘only’ thing which was slightly disappointing was the state of the accommodation next door as it was essentially a messy building site with a bit of a smell emanating from it. However, this didn’t bother our overall experience.

Initially difficult to locate once inside the grounds however with help we found it and settled in. Lovely chalet with very clean lounge area and bedrooms. Milk was left in the fridge that had already gone off however we just disposed of it. Email communication with Tricia had been accurate and very welcoming with helpful information about the local area. The on site entertainment was great fun and very enjoyable and the chalet had enough space to feel comfortable staying some evenings in to entertain ourselves. Overall what a lovely holiday

Surprisingly spacious, very nicely decorated chalet with good access to the swimming pool and what food was available. All very clean and tidy with all the utensils in the kitchen. The pictures don’t really do justice to how nice it is

We had a little issue with finding the property but once found we found the property clean and all electrical equipment was working. The shower head did not stay in position - kept sliding down but it did not spoil the stay any. We had a power cut which the owner was not at fault as it effected the whole area which was restored in 1hr. There was little noise coming from adjacent chalets either side but nothing to disturb us.

One of the best house I have stayed in. The chalet is very clean and well maintained. The space has been well utilised and hasd everything we needed for the stay. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cutlery and crockery. Only thing we missed was a washing machine. Trish was always in touch and very helpful with the whole process. The site has indoor and outdoor pool, gym and play areas. Will definitely go back.

The chalet was lovely, a real home from home! It was clean and very well equipped with everything you might need and more. Communication with Trish, the owner was very good. The area is really nice, although sadly we had the worst possible weather during our 4 day stay! I suppose we might just have to book again and go back.
