We need to have clear which kind of accommodation we're talking about, it's an Ibis Styles, which for me is a guarantee of clean rooms and pleasant stays at a very reasonable price without any fancy extras. The employees at the reception were very helpful all the time, breakfast was fresh and with quality products, the hotel itself is brand new (or renovated) and spotless clean. On arrival as well on departure I used the baggage storage service without extra cost and I got a free drink at the bar by registering on the Accor Member Program (but prices are far way better on Expedia, so do it only for the free drink 😉). The area surrounding the hotel could be better but it's generally just ugly, not unsafe, anyway the metro station of the line 4 is just 5 minutes away on foot and within 5-6 stops you're in the city center in no time. I would recommend the hotel and will definitely come back while in Budapest.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Styles Budapest Citywest and had a delightful experience. The hotel's modern design, featuring vibrant pop-art elements by local artist Peter Weiler, creates a welcoming and energetic atmosphere from the moment you enter. Location: Conveniently situated at the western gate of Budapest, the hotel offers easy access to the M1 and M7 motorways. It's also a short walk from the Kelenföld railway and metro station, making it simple to reach the city center within 15 minutes. ACCOR HOTELS Rooms: The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. The beds are particularly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Amenities: Guests can enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a complimentary breakfast buffet with a variety of options, and a stylish lobby bar offering a range of beverages. Overall I had an outstanding experience for nearly a month at the rate that I booked at. Exceptionally friendly staff and excellent cleaning services. The included breakfast was well above average. Not the most scenic setting, but easy enough to get elsewhere via the Metro Line 4.
