The place is not our cup of tea, 1 star.
I shouldn't have picked the place because of it's price, now I find fully understand you get what you pay for. The place is really old and quite disappointed , the room is really noisy because it's next to light rail. We stepped in the room, thinking it must be the heater turned up high by accident, but it was the hot water heater in the bathroom that made the stay unbearable, it was really really hot and stuffy and It's a really old residential apartment from the 50's , and you have to go through a dark alley way before reaching the elevator. It fit only 4 person tightly in elevator, and when we reached 5th floor our rooms, the elevator was not leveled with the floor, someone could trip on that. Once we opened the door, there's another door leads to our room. After that evening, we heard someone trying to get into the main door, and realized there's someone living in the same apartment, but through another door. We left after only 2nights and cut short of our trip and left. We were really tired from touring the Budapest city, and got awakened by the morning light rails, it was really a 2 torturing nights. The staff are very friendly and no fault on their own. It's the place it's way too old for our taste.

Great place off the beaten track...
100 meters from tram 2 & 4, 300 meters from the Danube where tram 2 frequents! Just a few minutes on any of these teams takes you to the main tourist areas. The local area has quite a few nice restaurants and bars. The apartment is situated within a residential block, so very nice people within the block. Reception team are very helpful and attentive, spotlessly clean rooms, a nice peaceful area. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but I was invited to have hot drinks in the breakfast room any time I required, so no issues there. I would recommend this place to anybody and will be doing so shortly. Thanks to the Boulevard team for a perfectly enjoyable stay.

Good option for people on a budget
Though not in the center of the tourist area, it's conveniently located to several public transportation options that can get you to the castle and parliament building within 10-15 minutes. Basically a good place for folks on a budget. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was pretty good. Wifi was fine. Check in was easy. My only complaint was that there was a huge problem with ants. I had to keep ALL food in the refrigerator because if I left it out, within minutes there were ants everywhere -- including on the bed.

It was wonderful and quite close to city centre by public transport. But what bothered me is the hostel/eating place downstairs right below my room, though on fourth floor. the room smelt always of meat. Also the room has no aircondition/far or shampoo and such resources.

Great location, parking must be booked in advance (not obvious at bookin), the room looked nice at first glance but the beds were in poor shape, the washroom wasn't very clean, the toilet seat was lose and you can clearly hear people talking in the adjacent room. Receptionist was very friendly and easygoing.

Nothing fancy but perfectly nice
Basic but clean and comfortable. Location is a bit south of the most scenic parts of Budapest, but it's an easy tram ride to the more tourist areas, and there are restaurants and shops just around the corner.

Super choice.
We stayed in Boulevard City Pension and Apartments, Budapest, Hungary for 4 nights. This was really a great place to stay. There is a grocery store one block away. there is a trolley stop at the grocery story. We had a great time and felt very safe there. The room was very comfortable and we are really looking forward to a similar stay. We would stay here again. the staff was very helpful. It was great!

Great value and good location!
The staff was very friendly and helpful always. The room was charming, with a nice balcony view and nice bathroom. The bed was not as comfortable as I would have wanted, but the room was still a good choice for the price. The staff helped me to get tickets to special concerts that I attended. Another plus was the grocery store across the street, as I bought water for the refrigerator in the room. Overall, I am pleased that I stayed at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

Friendly staff, simple and clean location. It would be helpful to have a much more prominent sign both outside and inside the building showing where and how to find the office. (Which is on the 8th floor of a public/private apartment building. These simple accommodations are perfect for those who don't want frills. I would recommend this place to others.

The receptionist was excellent, was always available to answer questions and concerns. Wifi was good and close to the trolley & metro. The only issue I had with the room was the bed, was easily the worst bed I've slept in while traveling Europe

Great cheap place. We received a free upgrade that included a living room and kitchen. Wifi was fast and reliable. Price was right and great location. Easy access to everything in Budapest. Cons: TV reception was off (if that matters), beds were not very comfortable. Great for a short stay. No AC. Not every room has AC, only a few. We were only supplied a small fan.

Value for money gem in Budapest
The hotel is well run by two pleasant and very helpful ladies. It is situated in a residential block occupying the top two floors in a neighbourhood approx 10 mins walk from the main tourist hotspots. The teams are 50 meters away, the Danube is 300 meters away and the location is perfect for those who like to be just outside the centre. Rooms are quaint but very clean and comfortable. Wifi is great and breakfast is on the top floor next to a small roof terrace. Would highly recommend! This is my third visit, definitely not my last!!

Great Hotel !
We stayed here from 23 June to 29 June 2014. We arrived late at night, groggy with jet lag. Although the taxi had stopped at the door, getting in was a bit of a problem. Locking the door of our room was another problem. In both cases, we had to call the receptionist who was available on phone and extremely helpful. That was our only 'complaint' ! Breakfast is also a bit limited, with menus being repeated, but plentiful. The rooms were however very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms clean. The room had an attached kitchen with some crockery, which we did not use. The location was great; we had some late night Turkish food outlets, supermarket and ATMs close by. Tram line for 4 & 6 was 3 minutes; the heritage Tram 2 also within walking distance; Metro station within 4-5 minutes. We were able to stay out till very late and had no problem in getting in or with neighbors. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The pluses far out weight the minor negatives. We will stay here again and would recommend all visitors to this place.

Great value for money!
I stayed for 4 nights. Very helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Situated 3 mins walk to the Danube and 80 meters from main tram stop. The apartments are on top of a residential block, friendly neighbours. My room was very clean and comfortable, with small kitchen including fridge and coffee machine, power shower, and with breakfast, I paid under £30 per night. Probably the best value for money apartment I've stayed in. If you're used to 5 star hotels with gold taps and marble floors, or are on honeymoon, this isn't the place for you, but I would thoroughly recommend this place to anybody else. Thank you to the 2 ladies who run the place for making my welcome.

Good location once the building was found. Was not well sign posted. Need to make sure you arrive before 5 pm or the receptionist has gone home.Beds okay but lacking proper sheets. Has nice rooftop terraza available to guests.Receptionist very helpful.
