Nice, quiet place to stay at. Friendly staff, excellent location, close to metro station, big city market and close to major attractions. The only thing is that room would need some upgrade especially for a 4 star Hotel. The wall tapes in the room were peeling off and the furniture was also not in its best shape.

The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the danube. The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were pleasent enough but a little tired around the edges for a 4 star hotel.

Location is good, just 5 minutes by walk from the metro station. close to the central market. Breakfast is ok. the receptionist is very helpful giving lots of helpful tourist information.The room is reasonably sized with all the facilities you need.

Very friendly staff, location was amazing. It's in city centre very close everywhere and still on a very silent streets. I liked outside window blinds, that the hotel was relatively quiet and the air condition. Room was rather spacious. Breakfast was OK, not amazing, not bad. Every time I needed something the receptionist was extremely helpful. My room (201A) had the following problems: No fridge even description said there is one No Do Not Disturb sign One corner of the bathroom has huge black mold Most of the channels in the TV didn't work The bed was vary hard with a topper on top of a mattress Overall this place offers good quality for the price but the rooms would need some attention to detail and better maintanance.

Hotel was in a very handy, good area, the staff were fantastic but it is not a 4 star hotel. The bed was rock hard as were the pillows and the wallpaper was peeling but the worst thing were the towels. I'm not sure if they were second hand but they were threadbare, falling apart and didn't dry you at all. I have never used towels quite like it!

Not a 4* hotel
This is pitched as a 4* hotel...it was more like a 4* hostel. I arrived at my room to find that the heater didn't work properly, so it was freezing. I decided to take a shower and the shower door came on the rail. In addition to this, on the other side of the shower cubicle it leaked all over the bathroom floor. I eventually got to bed and the mattress was what I can only describe as a concrete slab with a sheet on it! I'd have expected this from a hostel, but not something that is advertised as a 4* hotel.

Great location, uncomfortable beds.
Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast is the normal European breakfast. The bed was very hard and the shower/tub didn’t have a shower curtain...it’s impossible to keep water from getting everywhere. Very easy to get to hotel from the airport via bus route 100E and easy to get to the main train station via the metro!

Heating not working. No extra heaters to give guests. Heatpump took chill off room but it never got warm. Lighting so dim you need a torch to see into the closet and safe. Two lowest wattage bulbs at one end of bathroom meant other end was in shadow. Bed was VERY hard. Had to be a barrista to operate the coffee machine in room. No jug. No tea. No milk. Otherwise staff were friendly and spoke good English, scrambled eggs were excellent, hotel well located. However, I won't be back.

Great location but disappointing room
Great location and very friendly staff however the room was disappointing with the size advertised as a double when it would suit a single. Also there were two single mattresses on a double base and these were was uncomfortable and hard. No tea or coffee facilities were available in our room. Breakfast was also disappointing with items running out. If the bed was more comfortable with a proper double mattress and tea and coffee available in the room we would score higher.

Perfect location
Budapest is a beautiful city. The hotel was just what you need. Clean tidy and close to all the main tourist attractions. Hotel staff were lovely the manager even had an emergency corkscrew for my bottle of wine. No point in paying huge amounts of money for a hotel room in Budapest as you will only be in it to sleep. So much to see and do we were out from early morning till dusk then out again for dinner. Safety deposit box and fridge at no extra cost.

Great location, terrible
While the location of this hotel can hardly be beat if you want easy access to the city center area, the hotel itself left much to be desired. The bed as HARD. And I mean a 2 inch pad on top of a box frame. Bed was two singles pushed together. Water stains on the ceiling, pealing pain, no shower curtain, no water for the coffee pot (other than tap).

Nice renovated room close to all the attractions of Budapest, but the bathroom didn't have enough lighting and their was an awful sewer smell coming from the shower drain. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety of food.
