"We love Grand Beach as it right on the water and you can reserve rooms on 1st floor/beach view. The location is right on main drag, near restaurants, putt putt golf, etc. Kids love the indoor pool/jacuzzi for cold rainy days. Cons of hotel: you can hear people next to you and above you very easily, needs to be updated a bit, don’t love the breakfast boxes that are offered as we’ve tried different ones and we prefer a hot breakfast. "

"What a find in the off season. The location was easily walkable to the downtown. A clean beach front to walk and swim in with ease access from the hotel. Room was large and clean. Enjoyed the large indoor pool facility after being out all day at Torch Lake or Sleep bear dunes. Breakfast room ~ clean, lots of on-the-go selections from bagels, yogurt, eggs, cearl... Just the place for a get-away with so much to do and see. "

"We haven’t left yet, but thought we’d share how things are going. The check-in was smooth. We were able to check in early (for a fee). There is also a parking fee. There are plenty of carts to assist with luggage and coolers and such. There’s plenty of activities available (Magiquest, Build a Bear,waterpark, characters, bowling) and lots of on-site food and beverage options (sit down, ice cream, pizza), a gift store.
