Room was freezing. Slept with my clothes on.
Staff were nice and friendly.
Good for an overnight stay. Very comfortable bed and cooked breakfast was great. The building was cold and it was difficult to get warm. Would have liked the hot water to be hotter.

Room Smelled so bad of damp heating didn't work great.
Great location, very good service and very comprehensive Scottish breakfast well cooked. Rooms were clean and comfortable . Great location easy to find . We were well looked after.
The service was great and food was amazing, but the condition of the room was very poor and dated, the bedside units were broken and the window was cracked.

Overall our stay was very good. The food was well prepared and delicious tasting. The staff where helpful and eager to fill requests and there was always someone available if you needed something. The rooms are well furnished and spacious but the facility is older. The carpet and walls in the common areas show their age. There are some endearing qualities to this hotel. We stayed four days and enjoyed a couple of nice dinners in the restaurant. We did have a car to explore Spey Bay and Elgin but note that there isn't much right around the actual hotel. The fact that this hotel used to be an operational grain mill does make it a place of interest for those who like places with character and history. You can still see some of the machinery and they have a comfortable bar to lounge in.

Couldn’t fault the staff, and the food was amazing, but the property definitely needs some money spent on it. Stained carpets, damaged wall coverings, ancient decor in the bathroom, missing shelves, damp on ceilings, etc. The other thing I need to mention is that the rooms are up 3 flights of stairs, the restaurant is upstairs too, and there is no lift. It’s a lovely old mill building but needs some care and attention.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was bright clean, fresh, well-appointed and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent, using local superb produce. The breakfast was enormous and delicious.
Excellent stay at The Mill House! Very comfortable and clean. The staff are lovely - very friendly, chatty and helpful. The food is amazing - top quality and the menu has a great choice of dishes. Definitely recommend a stay here.
The bar ran out of my draught beer on Friday evening, the kitchen ran out of my choice for dinner. We returned to the hotel at 9:45pm after a day’s touring and everything was closed on the Sunday.
Janette was great and helpful with suggestions on things to do in the area. CJ was cute and helpful. You do have to carry bags up the stairs to your room. The food was very good and they provided breakfast.
Do not overlook this hidden gem! By chance, my fiancé, and I ended up staying at the Mill House for two nights in early May, and would definitely, without a doubt, go back for another visit! The staff were so very attentive and friendly, and the food and drinks are on par with a fine restaurant! We were actually quite sad to leave and continue on our journey, but we will always have such fond memories to look back on! Hope to see you all again soon!
