The cottage is perfect for those just wishing to escape the hustle and bustle and get back to nature away from the stresses and strains of everyday life it is the perfect location to recharge your batteries.

The 4 bedrooms beds are 3 super kings and one small double sized bunk bed.

The house is very close to the River Dart with easy access to Kayaking and the Salmon Leap Cafe for easy egress and a cup of tea, bacon sarnie or full English after exploring 'the Loop'........
Short walk to local pubs! Short walk to 2 local cafes and a lovely tea room/cafe!
Strategically located with access to Plymouth city centre (30 minutes), Exeter (31 minutes), Torquay (35 minutes ), Widecombe in the Moor (19 minutes), Ashburton (5 minutes), Dartmouth (40 minutes), Dartington (9 minutes) and Totnes (14 minutes) by car. Catch the steam train to Totnes from the South Devon railway station 4 minutes walk away (subject to seasonal timetable).
Mainline train from Totnes or Newton Abbot - taxi from Totnes to Cottage approximately £10 to £15.
Guest access
Guests have access - entire house and the outside garden.
Off road parking for 2 vehicles easily, 3 at bit of a squeeze. Please don't bring 4 there isn't room.
Other things to note
Please note our bunk beds are small 4 foot doubles, but very comfortable and that the room is small and very cosy if you choose this room! Each of the other bedrooms have Super King size beds in. 2 are en suite with small shower/toilet rooms. Please see photos.
The house is close to the A38 which is great for easy access, however you will hear it in the Garden or if the bedroom windows are open for example.
There is a hot tub present, children are not allowed in it without supervision. Any damage to it must be paid for. Please shower before using hot tub. No fake tans within hot tub. No drink glasses in the hot tub. No soaps, detergents or bubble baths of any description. Water is tested daily and access for this is required. The water is changed in between stays so this may mean on your first night the fresh water change will not have heated up to full temperature. It takes approximately 16 to 20 hours to heat fully through. The decking can be slippery in the wet, please be careful of this. You use this at your risk and responsibility.

If you use the open fire, the guard must be used all the time please.
Cottage Pet and Dog Rules
No pets unless well behaved dogs with prior permission.
If you bring dogs, you are responsible for their safety and security. There is a fence but we cannot guarantee your dog won’t find a way through the fence or the gate which has gaps in it and under it.
Neighbours have cats so please be considerate of this.
No puppies unless by strict agreement.
Please clean up after you pets. Any dog mess/droppings must be cleaned up, children very often use the garden so please consider this as well. We charge for picking up their mess/droppings if you do not, £40 each dropping.
Dogs are NOT allowed upstairs, on furniture or on beds under any circumstances.
No dogs to be left alone in the house while dog owners are out under any circumstances. Sorry, they must be taken out with you.
Dogs are not allowed to climb on any furniture. Owners should provide bedding for pets.
Dogs that have been out on walks with owners must be cleaned and dried as much as possible before being allowed into the Cottage. Shake down spray on inside walls will be charged for as a repaint to the whole wall. Excess mud/dirt bought in will be charged for if dog owners do not clean it up and we have to.
An outside hose is provided.
Any bite, scratch, nibble or other form of damage from pets/dogs is and will be chargeable.
Dogs are not allowed in the hot tub under any circumstances.
There is a small nature/frog pond, some trailing roses, some small areas that are left to grow wild for wildlife in the garden, please be mindful of this with children in relation to slips, trips, falls, insects, spiky or sharp things, potentially things that should not be eaten, e.g. berries, mushrooms, plants etc. You are wholly responsible for supervising any children at all times around the garden.
