This is a great place. The whole family loved it. Cell/wifi was spotty but everything was GREAT! Thank you for the memories as we explored my Cherokee heritage.

This house was everything we hoped for and more. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. It had everything we needed ..... comfortable bed, lots of towels, etc, and a very well stocked kitchen. The beautiful view was an added bonus. We highly recommend this for your next vacation in this area.

This property was very nice. We enjoyed our time as there was plenty of space for us all to enjoy. I would recommend that you stock up on necessities - especially in the kitchen. Even if you charge a little more every night - the basics would be great. Garbage bags, foil, plastics, etc...Overall, great experience.

Reviewer Comments: Loved this place! Convenient to Bryson City, easy drive, very clean, privacy, roomy. We felt at home and enjoyed the outside fireplace and great view. There were games, toys and DVD’s. Dish TV did not work probably due to tree blocking the signal. Will definitely stay here again! Did not deal with agent. Booking done on line very easy.

Old, very old.
Only positive comment is that the place is clean. Missing light bulbs everywhere. The living room fan has three different bulbs and only two work, giving out dim amber lighting which makes it look like the lighting in Disney’s haunted mansion. No Internet during the entire stay. I left one day early because me and my wife could not stand it anymore. Find something else.

Absolutely Accommodating
We truly enjoyed our stay at Kituwah Ridge Retreat. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be perfect for our brief four-night stay. The open floor plan with ample room for everyone to congregate around the island while not having the kitchen help feel isolated was great. The dining area was perfect with capacity to seat eight people without feeling cramped. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. The beds were very comfy too. Having Dish satellite service and a large screen TV was also great. My cell service is Verizon and at most times, I had workable service (as we never tried the home’s wi-fi). Fire pit great! Corn Hole game great! Only two issues we ran into was the lack of replacement light bulbs and not having the bedroom TV on satellite service for the gerbils. Truly a Great Stay and hope to visit again.

Very Spacious Home
The house was very clean, the rooms are large. Comfortable seating in the living room and the view is great. Don't expect everything to be brand new and you won't be disappointed. The house worked for our vacation, but everything wasn't perfect. We had to use our own Hulu when we couldn't get a signal on the TV but then discovered that Amazon Prime worked on the TV. The Internet was terrible. I called and reported the TV wasn't working right, just so the next guests might not have to deal with it. We like a softer mattress and our bed was a bit hard, even with a topper, so we didn't sleep the best. Hard to turn our trailer around in the drive/yard but we managed. Two very sharp turns to get there and a gravel drive. But overall, our stay was pleasant.

Very close to Bryson City Attractions and Views without elevation
The house itself is very roomy had really nice views and the area was peaceful. My issues are as follows: The back door was unlocked and ajar when we arrived. The house was dirty. It needs a deep cleaning. Ice machine in freezer shows mold in tray. Floors has visible dirt under tables. Rugs needed vacuuming. Looked like someone had vomited on the hallway bathroom wall and it was not cleaned off the wall. Grout in hallway bath had mold present. Dishes were in the dishwasher. I emailed the management company and included pictures. I have not gotten a response from my email. I cleaned what I could, but was very disappointed I had to clean the rental myself, on Christmas vacation. I would stay again, but they need to replace their cleaning service and refund me the cleaning fee I paid.

Great house!
The house is amazing. Loved the lay out! It looks like the pictures were taken years ago. The grounds have grown up since the pictures were taken. And the grass had not been mowed for several weeks. I would come again- the house and location was great!

Great stay but had issues
The only problem was the A/C did not work when we arrived. (Sat) Sunday they came fix it. Monday it was out again. They came to fix it Wednesday but did not fix. We left Thurs morning. We called Yellow Rose after we got home . We were not at the place in the day time so that helped and the nights cooled off some. Overall, just our bad luck. They really tried but after all is said and done, we were OK.
