"This hotel is fantastic!! Built in 1522. It has three pubs and a great restaurant. It is located in the center of the old city. The staff at the hotel and people in Caernarfon were super friendly. We attended a wedding in Snowdonia, and this hotel was our base of operations for three days. We probably won't ever have an opportunity to return, but I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!! Try the Welch Pie at the restaurant!!"

"The hotel is located about a 5 minute drive from Conwy. It sits in the middle of the countryside which is green and pretty- looking out the windows you see rolling green countryside. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, the bed huge (possibly 2 kings pushed together). The bathroom had a walk in shower and was modern. "We wanted somewhere quiet, secluded and far away from reality, this hit the spot perfectly! We weren't far from Llanberis where we had some great food and went on a beautiful walk to the castle. The cottage was well equipped and gave us the chance to feel properly nestled in the mountain. We used our time their to celebrate my partners birthday, and begin art projects we've been preparing for. We met a couple of others in Fachwen and they were so lovely and helpful!
