"We stayed at Akkandi veedu for one night during late March. Upon our arrival, we were warmly received by one of the staff there. (Forgot her name. May be, Radha? Rama?) She sent the bell boy to get our luggage upstairs (There are no elevators.). The WiFi was great. The dinner was very good (freshly prepared onsite). It cost us around 920 rupees for 3 of us. "This is not a hotel, it’s a hostel. The worst place, even if you are in an emergency the reception will not answer your call. The beds are soo old and uncomfortable, we booked for two days but could not even sleep one hour first night and the acting manager promised to refund the second night as we moved to another hotel but the reservations team refused to refund us. Terrible service overall. If you are going from western countries, definitely not the hotel to book"
