Great stay in Brussels
I stayed for 4 days again this year and this place is very nicely kept; it is very clean and quiet. The hosts are very nice and they make sure that everything you may need is provided. The location is great, easy access by bus and within walking distance to the metro.

A Home Away From Home
From the moment I arrived for my two week stay in Brussels, I was positively thrilled that I had booked this spotlessly clean, conveniently located, and wonderfully kitted out apartment from Mary and Lotfi. The apartment possesses all the conveniences one would need for an extended stay and, for a cook like me who prefers to eat in rather than dine out, I was delighted to make meals in a kitchen that had everything I needed. First time in Brussels
This property is very close to the bus stops that will take you directly to and from the north train station which is very helpful if you plan on touring other parts of Belguim. The area is old Brussels, with small grocery stores in the area. The hosts were very helpful and made sure everything was okay, they even leave food in the apartment so you don't have to go out right away to get food. Overall, if we returned to Brussels again, we would stay at this apartment again.

A perfect Brussels apartment
We spent a lovely few days in Brussels at this wonderful apartment. The hosts were delightful: helpful, unobtrusive, generous in what was provided for us, we couldn't have asked for more. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. It is also very convenient for buses into the city centre. Excellent apartment in a great location
Two week stay in December for the Christmas markets. Our hosts met us when we arrived and explained everything about the apartment and how to get around Brussels. The apartment was well stocked with food, drinks, bread, cheese, chocolates, coffee, etc. We are a little older, in our 70's, and we loved this place. Everything was new and modern and clean. We walked (once) to the Park and Grote Markt but it was a 2 mile walk. There is a bus just 2 minutes from the apartment and it takes you to the Metro and the North Train Station. The public transportation in Brussels is excellent and cheap. There are restaurants and grocery markets close by.The internet was fast and reliable. We always rent thru VRBO when we travel and this was the best apartment we have rented in the last 4 years.

GREAT little VRBO in Brussels!
This modern, ultra-clean and neat little apartment is conveniently located near Central Brussels and two major bus routes. It's an older neighborhood but there are three excellent restaurants and one incredible Italian Pasticceria (pastry shop) within easy walking distance. The available garage unit made it a great place if you have a rental car, as we did. On-street parking anywhere in BRU is very hard to find and expensive! Mary and Lotfi (the owners) live directly above the ground-floor unit, and are SUPER to deal with. They gave us a very thorough in-briefing despite our flying into BRU pretty late at night. They had stocked the place with everything we could have needed for the first couple of days, and were available 24/7 for help if needed. Plus: Lotfi walked us to the garage at 06:30 AM for our early departure so we didn't have to get creative turning in the garage door opener. We couldn't have asked for a better "Pied a terre" in Brussels, and would go back there in a heartbeat. And BTW: did I mention that all this comes at a BARGAIN price!? We cannot recommend this place highly enough...

A perfect choice for Brussels
We had a wonderful 11-day experience at Lotfi and Mary’s apartment. We had searched for quite a while for the right place to stay for our holiday and this was it. The apartment is exactly as promised and more – equipped with top quality appliances and kitchenware, and supplied with all kinds of food items that meant we had no food worries for several days and even benefitted from some staples for the entire length of our stay. The apartment itself is comfortable with lots of lounging and storage space (too bad the weather did not allow us to sit outside at the bistro table!). It was a lovely place to come home to at the end of a long day of touristing. The neighbourhood is residential and quiet. There is a small grocery store, butcher and bakery nearby, and other excellent food sources a little further afield. We used the no. 61 bus which stops almost outside the door, and goes to the Brussels Noord train station, and in the other direction connects with trams to take you pretty well anywhere you want to go. We paid on the bus/trams with our contactless credit cards, possibly a bit more expensive than tickets but extremely convenient, and there is a daily limit. And no review would be complete without mentioning the warm hospitality and assistance from Mary and Lotfi. They were accommodating and helpful. Having them close at hand was a bonus. We are grateful to them for helping to make our stay in Brussels such a success.

Brussels home base
First impressions were with the owners and it was excellent. They provided detailed information and instructions including multiple ways of getting to the property via multiple transportation options. We were driving a rental car and the fact they offered a garage was a huge bonus! They live in a separate unit directly above so they are available if needed. The home was spotless and so well stocked! The kitchen has been fully renovated and offers every conceivable appliance, kitchen gadgets galore! They thoughtfully provided some bottles of water, coffee, eggs, creamer, yogurt and fresh fruit.The bathroom is small (compared with US oversized things) but also spotless and well stocked. The washer and dryer in the home were another big bonus as we were traveling for several weeks and definitely had some laundry. The bedroom is right off the neighborhood street, but there’s a privacy tint and multiple styles of shades and blackout shades and it wasn’t an issue. A good restaurant almost Nextdoor and several markets were within walking distance. We loved the location away from the hustle of Brussels. They were wonderful hosts, did a great job walking us through the home at check in and we actually never saw them again during our stay (so don’t worry about privacy). I would definitely recommend this home. And just as a side note, definitely go visit Bruges!

This apartment is nicely situated with access to bus and metro lines, only a 10 minutes to reach central sites. It is comfortable and well maintained and the owners Mary and Lofti are very warm and welcoming. Windows in front and doors to back enclosed courtyard give cross ventilation, it was 24 degrees so we appreciated this element. The owners keep it well stocked with fruit, yogurt, bread , all you need for your first morning. we truly appreciated their welcome and kindness and would return again.

Sehr schöne, perfekt eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, liebenswerte Vermieter
Wir haben (glücklicherweise) für einen Familienbesuch in Brüssel die perfekt eingerichtete (Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine...) und sehr gepflegte Ferienwohnung von Mary und Lotfi gemietet. Die beiden waren von der ersten Minute sehr bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt schön zu gestalten und hatten zum Beispiel zum Empfang eine ganze Menge Lebensmittel und Dinge des Alltags für uns besorgt: Wein, Wasser, einen Obstkorb, Brot, Marmelade, Plätzchen, belgische Pralinen (!), Spagetti, etc. etc.. Dazu hatten Sie eine Karte für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel bereitgestellt (eine Bus-Haltestelle liegt schräg gegenüber, eine weitere Haltestelle eine Strassenecke weiter) - für unser Auto gab es einen Garagenplatz um die Ecke, ohne den wir nicht gewusst hätten, wo wir parken könnten. In der Wohnung gibt es ein Satellitenfernsehen und ein flottes (70 Mbit/sec) WLAN. Als einmal abends im ganzen Viertel der Strom ausfiel, kamen die beiden (die im Haus oben wohnen) zu uns herunter, um uns einen Kerzenleuchter zu bringen. Wir haben uns hier so gut aufgehoben gefühlt wie selten und werden bei einem weiteren Besuch in Brüssel gerne wieder hier wohnen. Viele Grüsse aus Frankfurt an Mary und Lotfi !

Séjour chez Mary et Lotfi
Nous avons séjourné à cette résidence pendant 5 jours en mars 2023. Nous avons grandement apprécié l'hospitalité des nos hôtes. A notre arrivée, nous avons été agréablement surpris de trouver des fruits, lait, pain et beurre et autres condiments qui nous attendaient. L'endroit est très bien tenu, très propre et tranquille. IL est situé dans un quartier centralement situé. Nous avons découvert le quartier Schaerbeek, Etterbeek et Saint Josse. Il y a de beaux et grands parcs tout près. Une très belle pâtisserie/boulangerie tout près (Van Dender). Egalement, il y est facile de circuler avec les transports publics (bus, métro, train). Je marchais 10 minutes pour me rendre à la ligne de métro 2-6 ou 15 minutes pour la ligne 1-5. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Fantastisches Apartment
Das Apartment ist verkehrstechnisch gut gelegen, in kurzer Zeit ist man mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in der Innenstadt. Für zwei Personen hat es eine sehr gute Größe, es war sehr sauber und an der Ausstattung - vor allem auch in der Küche - hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die beiden Vermieter sind überaus nett und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld und auch Vorort war äußerst freundlich. Insgesamt definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Ni gaufres, ni chocolat pour les Eguillens (13) France) rentrés en urgence
Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par les propriétaires qui nous ont expliqué dans le détail tout le fonctionnement de l’appartement qui est situé à 100 m du départ du bus 61 pour le centre, que l’on atteint en 10 minutes. Une carte de bus, qui permet de prendre aussi le métro, a été mise, gracieusement, à notre disposition . Nous n’avons plus eu qu’à la recharger. Le mobilier de l’appartement est neuf et de très bonne qualité. De nombreux appareils ménagers sont presents. Tous les produits de première nécessité sont mis a notre disposition. Huile, vinaigre, condiments, pâtes, riz, confiture, biscuits salés pour l’apéritif. Au frigo, des bières, jus de fruits, de l’eau en bouteille. Dans la salle de bain, shampoing, etc. C’est la première fois que je vois une telle générosité . et pour notre départ une boîte de confiserie nous a aussi été remise . Appartement très confortable et calme que nous recommandons très vivement. Merci à vous qui nous avez si bien reçus. À bientôt pour un prochain séjour. Celui ci ayant été abrégé suite à un imprévu de santé .

Perfect place for a stay in Brussels!
We received a very warm welcome from Lotfi. He even helped us unload the car ;-) We came to stay for two weeks, so we had a few bags. The appartement really is everything (and more) as described. We have been promised groceries etc before , but this was above and beyond expectation. The place was nice and clean, a real treat . The garage is also a very big plus. We were very happy to be able to leave our car there. We would sincerely recommend this appartement to anyone looking for a place to stay in Brussels!
