Great location and price.
For the price we got it is a very good deal, the room was a good size and it was really clean (Which is very important for me), the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was OK, the blow drier was broke but the room has one so i guess i just wasn't lucky. The location is GREAT it is 10 mins walk to most important must see things in Brussels, i would recommend to everyone who looks forward to acceptable price looking a OK accommodation and cleanness but great location so you do not have to pay lots of money on transportation because you can walk to most places.

Value for the money
The hotel was at a very good location and it was, also, comfortable and very clean. The personnel was very helpful. The only thing was that at the reservation desk they did not have on their list my booking which was made through the hotels.com. Finaly, they figured it through their system. However, if the hotel was fully booked, there would be a problem. It is better to call the hotel and confirm your reservation after you make your booking through the hotels.com.

Did what it said on the can. No problems, hotel could do with some work, but there are places in Brussels that are far worse and charge far more.

The hotel was okay. A staff member was very rude to me when I had just arrived, simply because I asked if I could check in before 3pm. The location is perfect because it is about a 10 minute walk from Grand Place. Other than that, the hotel was just average.

Basic hotel but very close to the centre.
The hotel had no record of our booking with Expedia - fortunately we had our confirmation. This may have been a problem on Expedia's side. The receptionist sorted us out with a room. The room was very clean and warm.

Great stop during business trip - perfect location
Hotel worked out great to catch an early flight from Brussels after meetings around the area. Great location for a quick walk to the city center and many restaurants and cultural spots. Having on-site parking was a huge plus in the city. The rooms were functional but not lacking. Would stay again.

Good neighborhood, spacious rooms, but old facilit
Neighborhood is great, it is the centre of Brussels. The hotel is located on a (relatively) busy street, but most of the noise is left outside and is not disturbing. However, the facilities are old: I had only two (!) power sockets in my room, none of them in a convenient location. That was disturbing. I would have expected more from a 4-stars hotel.

The room was decent enough, but there were some annoyances that make it hard to recommend this place. The biggest of which is the lack of privacy. At every hotel I have ever stayed, I always put the "do not disturb" sign on the door even when I am out of the room if I do not want them coming in (mostly b/c I tend to spread out and don't want my stuff moved around). Unfortunately, this hotel ignores the sign. Once you turn your key in to go out, they assume they are allowed in even if you have the "Do not Disturb" sign on the door. Every time I went out, I came back to find the sign was moved inside and it was clear people had been in to clean up. As for the annoyances: There was only one visible outlet that I could find and it was not near the desk (hence the laptop on the floor so it could charge). If you need to charge more than one item, good luck. Also, the free internet kicks you off after 4 hours and you have to go through the sign in process again (the account log-in info you get expires and only works for one device anyway). The lock mechanism for the room door could also use an upgrade. Finally, they list their nightly price for a single at the reception as 250£. Do NOT pay this. You can stay at a much nicer hotel for that price.

Nice hotel in a good location in Brussels
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage if you arrived too early, like I did. Printed train tickets and put them with my stored luggage until I returned. Breakfast was optional, but I did not partake.

Great location, clean rooms - nighclub opposite
Excellent hotel, friendly staff and ideally located to the local attractions. Can be difficult to locate the hotel but best to look for Du Brouckere metro and walk. Walk towards a church with dark markings(there is a parking complex on your left and a large hotel on the left), walk further and turn right at the street where there is a restraunt on the corner and the hotel is on the left. We asked a friendly Belgian couple who walked us to the hotel. It was 11pm by the time we found the hotel! The only downside is that the hotel is opposite a night club and on Friday night we went to sleep to the thumping of dance music. Luckily we were so tired from walking around that it didnt bother us too much. Highly recommended and will be booking again in the near future.

late check in, comfortable rooms, good breakfast
We arrived to the hotel. Many people waiting to check in. The cleaners were behind and we couldn't check in for 2 hours and 40 mins after the original check in time. The man working the desk that day was very rude and short with many of the guests. He was pleasant with me because I did not put up a fuss (too tired to be angry). Finally we got a key - almost 3 hours later. I asked the man how we will be compensated for the late check in and he said he would pass that along to the hotel manager. Next day we asked again and apparently we were given a free breakfast- no one contacted us and this was a weak attempt to really care. The hotel room was great. We had a large window that opened into a back green space, let light and air into the room. The bathroom was good, bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and you could hard boil your own individual egg- loved this but it's 12€ so a bit expensive for how much one eats in the morning. Overall the hotel was great. The only bad part was our check in and the angry man yelling at guests cause they were asking when they would be let into a room. He should be fired as he was so rude. The rest of the workers at the desk were very kind and spoke english well enough to have conversation.
Big comfy bed- big windows

Great location, with plenty of restaurants, bars and Grand Place in easy walking distance. Our room, on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel was quiet with quite a pleasant view. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

This is my 2nd stay at the Astrid and both have been very pleasant. I find the location very convenient and central for doing my tourist bit. Coffee/tea making facilities would be wonderful to have in the rooms.

The hotel is super close to St Catherine where all the seafood restaurants are located. The hotel staff are very nice and pleasant to us, giving us some good tips around the city. The room is a decent size, the bed is super comfy!
