Hotel Delga - Maison d'hôtes
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (64)
"What an amazingly, beautiful, hotel and Emilie the absolute perfect host. The attention to detail is first class and no effort is spared to make your visit memorable. The bedrooms are superb, the bed is ultra comfortable, the bathroom with walk in shower excellent and thecair conditioning given it was 35 degrees outside such a delight. This small but beautiful hotel ranks as one of the best we have visited anywhere in the world. Thank you Emilie. David and Morag "

"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. Breakfast outside in the shade of trees and the company of other guests and our hosts was delightful. Croissants, bread, homemade...

Le relais d'Arzac
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (20)
"This was the highlight of our trip to the midi-Pyrenees. Set in a tiny village in rolling hills, close to many delightful medieval towns and the amazing city of Albi. (best to locate on google maps on phone - not the TomTom) Isabelle made us very welcome - she emailed me 2 days before to ask what time to expect us, if we wished to have dinner, and any food preferences.. It was very clean and quiet and had a warm swimming pool. Her cooking was outstanding. "

"There are NO serviettes (towels) provided, and no hairdryer, bedding very basic but beds were comfortable, shower was great, C=hot, F=cold. Nice location, me met hosts at their address and followed them to the rental by car. You will need google translate to communicate as they are very friendly but speak NO English. Hated the kettle, very complicated to operate, ended up heating a cup of water in microwave. Washing machine was handy when i found the washing line behind the house. i would go...

"This was a stunning property, with glorious views and ideally located for day explorations of nearby hill top villages. We had lovely days visiting sights in the morning then lounging on the terrace and by the pool. Our son adored playing the pool (which in July was nice and shaded by 4pm, an ideal time for playing before dinner/BBQ). "
