Would definitely return
We LOVED this hotel. Definitely our favorite hotel during our 2 week Europe vacation. We loved the furniture (did you know the owner made it?) and charm of the hotel. Also, their breakfast charmed the hell out of me. It felt high quality and well thought out. The owner talked with us in the downstairs bar for at least an hour. The bar was so magical! You just don't see places like that here in the US (midwest, anyway). They also gave us our check out gift (Belgian chocolates!) early since they knew we would be catching the first train out of town.

A nice botique hotel
A nice property with cheerful staff. Absence of an elevator is bothersome if you must schlep a 40 pound suitcase to the 2nd floor. Front desk receptionist was kind enough to carry one of the bags up for us. That 2nd floor is actually the 3rd floor, if you count entering the hotel from the street via 5 or 6 steep stair-steps. WI-Fi worked for me in the reception area, but would not connect in the room on the "2nd" floor. The hotel should add a Wi-Fi access point on that floor or amp up the router range.

Great hotel
Had 4 nights in Bruges. Hotel was very inviting and very well placed for everything. May not have its own parking but underground parking is less than 5 minute walk away and only €8.70 per 24 hours. Fresh continental breakfast everyday, just wish their lovely bar was open more often. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is in a good location-close to the sights and in a quite neighborhood. Hotel is currently under renovation, so there was some disruption. The biggest problem with this hotel is lack of service. We had a room without a shower. Once I discovered we didn't have a shower, I went and talk to the owner. She told me there is only one room in our room category with a shower, and the only other room is a family room. She stated over and over again, the family room was more expensive and she was going to lose business if she gave us the room. We were the only people staying at the hotel for the days we were there. Will not stay there again.

Honeymoon in Bruges
This place was in the perfect location of Bruges, everything was within walking distance. The farthest we walked was 20 minutes, but well worth it. The whole town is a fairy tale. A well orchestrated breakfast was provided every morning, it really made you feel like it was catered to your needs. I would certainly stay here again.

Good location. Spacious room. Bed is too soft.No lift to room if you're having trouble with walking up the stairs-take note. Walls are thin and floor creaky. Breakfast is good.

The new owners of this hotel had only taken over 2 weeks ago. They were very pleasant and helpful. The Bathrooms do need some attention, but I am sure this will be sorted in time. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. We would stay here again.

Central hotel
This hotel , which is very convenient for the centre, has everything needed for a economical , short stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable , the room was very clean , plentiful supply of hot water for showere and excellent breakfast. The owner was delightful - very happy to recommend places of interest or book taxis etc. Our only slight issue was the lack of cupboard or shelf space .

Lovely hotel to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
We had a basic but comfortable room, would have loved one of the beamed rooms, unfortunately we probably booked a little late. A lovely old building with history. Found the owner friendly and helpful and recommended a very good restaurant just round the corner. We would definitely return. Not far from the centre of the city.

Excellent small hotel
Very charming small hotel (only 9 rooms) a short walking distance from the market square and located on a quiet street. Staff is very friendly and helpful with information and recommendations. Breakfast is a very complete continental, and served with fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice. As the building dates from the 15th century, the stairs could be challenging for someone with limited mobility (there is no elevator). Rooms on the 2nd floor require 2 steep staircases. Rooms are very comfortable, beds are good, bathrooms complete and clean. We would certainly stay here again if returning to Bruges.

Close to centre, good for short stays
The hotel is perfectly located for accessing the centre of Bruges (5-10 minute walk). This makes it really easy to drop back to your room for anything whenever you are out. It is also only a 20 minute walk from the station. The beds are very comfortable and it is so quiet you can get a good nights sleep. The facilities in the room are quite basic (e.g the tea/coffee making facilities descibed are a kettle, two cups & spoons, 2 tea bags and 2 little milk pots). However, for a short stay this shouldn't be too bothersome. The staff were very friendly on arrival and at breakfast. A really good continental breakfast offered in the room rate, which is a good way to start the day.
