I do think the house keeping of the rooms need to pay more attention to details – my room wasn’t swept properly and the bathroom has hair from the previous guest. "

"We were part of a very large party taking various room grades from basic to suites. Views of the sea, and Etna in the distance are possible from where you’re located in the hotel. Accommodation at various levels was indifferent. Pool area was very busy as the hotel was full. Tried dinning twice, first experience we walked out after waiting far too long to be attended to. "Hotel is fine(ish) but let down by the staff. Room was freezing. Went to eat but they had a big party in so had to wait longer than originally told. So thought I'd have a drink at the bar, stood there for 10 minutes with nothing happening whilst the receptionist smiled at me every now and again. No attempt to find where the barman had disappeared to. Service in the restaurant a bit haphazard too. Showing my ago but left with the impression I'd just visited the Crossroads Motel."
