Exile on Main Street
We are minutes from Mammoth Cave and fifteen minutes from Nolin Lake. Whether you are in the area to visit family, enjoy the local attractions, or just passing through, this is a great place to rest and unwind! In addition, the large screened in porch will allow you to soak up the City Of Brownsville's charming atmosphere, plus you can enjoy the new hot tub! In the morning please enjoy our coffee bar, we supply coffee and tea. We named this adorable house Exile on Main Street after The Rolling Stones album from 1972. It is on Main St after all . The spaces in this home are music themed. Some rooms are decorated around a specific song while other spaces follow the music ambiance. This cute cottage will delight the music lovers from yesteryear.

Just as it was listed… total comforts of home…kitchen coffee maker beds tv internet and nice recliners to sit and watch tv after touring Mammoth Cave….with an jacuzzi on deck….
This was a very clean rental. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. Exactly as described, great downtown Brownsville location. Try PJ's Café down the street, you will not be disappointed.
Host was very hospitable and made sure to accommodate and give recommendations. House was solid and what was needed for our stay. House was also well equipped for what you need for a stay.
Thank you!!
Loved the musical decorations and adorable coffee bar with absolutely everything needed for coffee lovers. Enjoyed the hot tub and screen porch. Really appreciated the gift bag and note from the host. Recommend this VRBO house in every way!
My mom and I were passing through the area and needed a place to stay for one night. We were very happy with and it had everything we needed. We arrived at night so it was a little hard to find since the street is not well lit but otherwise no issues at all! Would totally stay here again
Easy check in. Very clean, lots of space, full kitchen, AWESOME AIR CONDITIONING! Screened in porch with hot tub!!!! This house was mintunes from Mammoth Caves!!!! Oh... BONUS! DAIRY QUEEN JUST DOWN THE ROAD!😁
Everything you need near Mammoth Cave National Park
What an absolute gem! Clean, great location and very accommodating owners who communicate well. We stayed a few nights for a family trip to Mammoth Caves National Park. It's an easy drive to everything, including supermarket, gas and restaurants. The music theme behind all of the home decorations were really cool. And the boys loved the hot tub. We couldn't have asked for more. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
I felt like the hosts really went out of their way to make us feel appreciated. The house was very clean, well stocked, and accurate to the listing. The hot tub was very clean also. It is on a busy road, and I am a really light sleeper, so I slept with ear plugs, but my wife and son didn't notice the road noise. I would definitely stay there again.
Very nice and comfortable property in a quiet town. 15 minutes from Mammoth Cave. Owners easy to deal with and home exactly as described. A couple of things to note, bring your own shower soap and shampoo. Everything else was supplied. Also, it’s a dry town so BYOB.
Stayed here for a night while on a long road trip. Cute town (a couple of dining options within walking or short drive distance). Off street parking behind the house. Grassy area for pets. Screened in back porch was great for relaxing in. Hot tub worked great! All the conveniences of home—including some comfortable reclining chairs. Appreciated the coffee bar. This place ranks in my top 5 cleanest places I have stayed at. Would definitely come back again.
My wife and I booked the property in April for our 10th anniversary get away. Unfortunately our babysitter canceled so we ended up having to contact the property manager and inform them we had to either add our 3 kids or cancel our reservation. They cordially insisted that we bring our children along and did not charge us anything extra. We had a great time and the town was so quiet and welcoming. We would definitely visit again. Thank you!!!
We booked this for a trip to Mammoth Cave National Park. The house was lovely and clean. We did have a slight issue with the heat not working the night we checked in but I reach out to the Property Owner and he has someone there within an hour of contacting him. Very pleasant to deal with. Hot tub was a great perk of our stay. Mammoth park was about 10 miles away. Great, quiet neighborhood. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with the property or the owners, is that the city has one of those LED purple street lights across from the house and at night, I found it hard to see pulling in the driveway.
Perfect Location To Visit Mammoth Cave National Park
This clean little house was perfect for 2 adults and a teen to relax at after exploring and hiking in the National Park all day. Just 20 minutes to the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center where all cave tours start. There are small grocery stores and a few restaurants close by as well. The home had all the linen and kitchen essentials, including the stocked coffee bar. We really appreciated the hot tub at the end of the day after long hikes! The smart TV was also available for us to login with our Netflix account to watch movies. We would stay here again! The only complaint we had is the neighbors’ two large dogs wandered into our backyard numerous times and our little beagle is not friendly with other dogs. This is out of the property owner’s control, though.
Very clean and well maintained. Charming and welcoming decor. The owners clearly take pride in the property as local community members. The drive to mammoth cave was easy, about 20 minutes. The beds and furniture are comfortable. The property was well stocked with towels and basic kitchen supplies making it easy to relax. The owners also operate PJs restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and ice cream just around the corner. Mexican place down the street is also good. Basic groceries available very nearby as well. Perfect for a couple nights to relax or recover from hiking. The road out front is busy but the blinds are thick and it didnt disturb us. We felt very safe and relaxed and appreciated the responsive and involved owners. Definitely want to return and do more of the park.
