This unique 70s house with studio on Broulee Headland has a peaceful and relaxing ambience. It is a much loved house in a wonderful quiet location. It is not a house for large groups or parties.
The main living room is open plan and comfortable. It has a combustion wood burner. The long shearers table is great for family meals, games, large jigsaw puzzles, art or study. The large glass sliding doors give a lovely indoor- outdoor feeling when sitting downstairs. The informal mostly native garden attracts lots of birds. There is a small, well appointed kitchen. Weber BBQ just outside the kitchen. The upstairs mezzanine master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite has an adjoining outside verandah with view through trees towards South Broulee Beach.
The open plan studio (orgininally built for an artist) has a double bed and ensuite upstairs and two single beds with work table downstairs. The studio is linked to the main house by the upstairs verandah. The studio is more difficult to warm up and potential guests need to be happy to wear warm gear inside in winter months.
The house is ideal for a holiday for a family with older children, individuals or couples with or without children or 2 small families.
Both the main house and the studio are well appointed however linen is not provided (1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 2 single beds, 1 mattress if needed). Doonas, blankets and pillows are provided, as well as doona covers. The garden is not fenced.
